Monthly Favourites | March
6:00 PM
I'm finally back for good, do expect a lot of posts to come from travelling and beauty related because I've done quite a bit of travelling in the past weeks and I've got a lot of photos to show you guys. Also I shopped a little bit while at it so there will be brand new outfit pics featuring the clothing items I purchased, I'm all positive because this month started well for me and I plan on keeping the positivity for the rest of the month and onto the next month as well.
Today I decided to post my March Favourites because I have some new items that I've been loving and wanted to share them with you all, hope you enjoy the post.
Urban Decay NAKED 3 palette: I've used this palette quite lot in the past month, I love how versatile the shades are and I've created a few different looks although I always go back to my usual gold smokey eye with winged liner and a red or nude lip.
YSL Encre De Peau foundation: Not too long ago I created a collage of foundations (here) that I wanted to try out because I was running out of my MAC studio fix fluid foundation, strangely I somehow ended up purchasing this YSL foundation which wasn't even in the collage. Anyway I love it and it's in the shade Golden Beige BD 65. I'll be reviewing it soon so stay tuned.
Naomi Campbell Signature fragrance: I got this fragrance back in December and since then it's literally been my signature scent. I've used it for all sorts of occasions and I always receive compliments when I wear it. It was Naomi's first fragrance and one of the bestsellers since its release in 1999. In three words I'd describe the scent as fruity, sweet and exotic. I highly recommend it.
Maybelline Linerefine soft kohl liner: #38 Brown. It may end up being too dark if too much of it is used harshly, but if used sparingly and with light strokes then it gives a really great natural finish to the brows.
Blistex lipbalm: I prefer this blue one to all Blistex lip products, its gives you a tingly feeling that I love and just helps to keep my lips moisturised.
Maybelline Colossal volum' express mascara: Maybelline mascaras are my favourite, I love their big and fluffy brushes. I haven't experienced anything bad with their mascaras yet.
Make Up Store Studio Foundation in Espresso: I've had this foundation for quite some time and its only recently that I started to use it. It's too dark for my skin tone so I always blend it with my YSL foundation for an even look.
MAC Viva Glam 3 lipstick: my first ever MAC lipstick and it's still my favourite. I use it for everyday and nights out. It's the perfect matte shade lipstick that would suit any skin colour.
O.P.I's 'Sparrow me the drama' polish: you can see my recent post on it -here. I love this light pink colour and it's perfect for spring.
That's it for my March favourites. Not going to promise anything but I'll my hardest to post these at least every other month or so because I'm a repeater of products and repetitiveness can be boring, I know I get easily bored of seeing the same products on certain blogs and I don't want that for mine.
What have you been loving in the month of March?

ReplyDeleteI went through quite a struggle to get this foundation. None of the local beauty departments had it in the deepest shade so on my way to Denmark I went to the YSL counter at Duty Free, still nothing in my colour but I finally found it at a Sephora in Copenhagen.
DeleteLovee this
