Happy Hour

Happy Saturday loves, today I'm sharing an outfit I wore not too long ago when my friend and I met up for an impromptu happy hour outing - we was thuuuuursty! As always, I wanted to feel comfortable and so I opted for a latest edition in my wardrobe which is the H&M side slit top, the material's so comfortable and I've used it a couple of times when travelling, I then added my Ebay bargain to add more colour and warmth yet not feeling too hot. I've shown you the jacket before and you can find that post here.

Striped Little Black Dress

H/M
Hi, I'm back with another outfit. I wore this one on my Birthday back when I was in Berlin. I opted for a dress because that day I felt like being more feminine with my outfit choice and this was the end result. I loved rocking this outfit and felt very confident, on top of that, I got some weird looks from people because I was literally strolling in the streets to find a lunch spot in them. To some of you they may seem very uncomfortable; but believe me, they are very comfortable and I can go long hours in them.

Jacket & Sunnies - H&M // Striped shirt - JÖR // Bag - Primark // Shoes - Amsterdam

Let's get this week started with a simple almost-all-black outfit from last week. I invited mum for an impromptu lunch date which turned out great, we ate at one of our favourite restaurants that we hadn't visited for quite some time now, it was great to go back and I went straight for the lamb steak - check my Instagram account @stylekrush for the food.

I got ready real quick and didn't actually plan my outfit beforehand (I rarely do), loved the comfort of each item, these Vero Moda pants are soooo comfortable! So stretchy too and I'm wearing size 34 for the perfect fit. Wearing a JÖR shirt that I got on one of their sales about a year or two ago, still love it to this day. Here's another way I styled this H&M jacket.

Can you believe that these pictures were taken with an iPhone?! I'd forgotten my camera at home so my phone was the only remaining option; I actually think they turned out great. Thanks mum :)

Mum's Graduation Ceremony

Hey everybody, hope you're having a relaxed Sunday evening. Yesterday my mum received her B.A Degree in Social Education from The University of Iceland so you know it was a long joyous day. On Friday night before we prepared some food and got beverages ready for Saturday as we wouldn't have time to prepare everything from scratch after the graduation ceremony. We got up very early on Saturday morning and helped mum get ready - outfit styling and make-up by yours truly.

Saturday Night

Crop top - Missguided // Bottoms - Zara // Leather jacket - Vero Moda // Bag - Primark // Platforms - Ebay
Good evening, just wanted to pop by to say 'hi' and share this outfit with you that I wore last weekend for one of my girlfriends's birthday. When I was preparing I wanted to wear a skirt and an hour or so later after completing my makeup application, I looked outside and saw it has started snowing and at that moment the skirt option went straight out the window. Instead, I decided to wear these ripped and VERY comfy high-waist pants from Zara. They are all I've been wearing and I'm thinking about going back to get them in more colours. This was a perfect quick-change outfit that you can easily transform with either shoes or top; even as simple as a jacket/blazer.

I'm currently at home sick, I have no energy, it's literally a freezing winter wonderland outside and this is all happening on my days off from work which from the looks of it will most likely be spent in bed binge watching The Godfather... I'm finally manning up and I'm about half-way done with the first sequel.

How Would You Wear | Monochrome

Dress - Primark | Blazer - H&M | Bag - Zara | Booties - Hagkaup

Happy Friday beautiful people. Today's post is yet another collaboration with a few lovely ladies that I'm sure you're quite familiar with by now; perhaps you already even read their blogs but if not I will provide links below so you can go check out the kind of outfits they came up and make sure to show some love. On the 20th of each month we all post our outfits depending on what the theme for that particular month is, i.e. last month's theme was Valentines Day.

Outfit | Keflavíkurnætur Day 2

Blazer, wedges, bag - H&M | Necklace - Velvet.is | Skirt - 3 Smárar
Casio watch | Earrings - Primark

Here's my outfit for Saturday, I wanted coloured and opted for this gorgeous pink blazer from H&M, I'veg got a red one as well and that's one of many ways that I like adding colour to my outfits, either with a blazer or bag. Simple while still remaining stylish. Oh and I want a bit of sexiness going on thus I wore this lace leotard that I do not even remember where it was bought, it's been that long. Believe when I tell you that I bought this mini skirt a very looooong time ago and this was the first time that I used it... that just goes to show that I definitely need to go through my wardrobe and rearrange everything.

Outfit | Hearts all Over

Coat - Krummaskúð | Shirt - Spúútník | Playsuit - Primark | Boots - H&M | Bag - Zara

The weekend's finally here and I'm working both days while everyone else is out camping or at the four day Þjóðhátið festival that's going on in Vestmanneyjar - Vestmann Islands. I've never been to this festival before because it's always raining and I don't enjoy getting wet or being outside in the mad wearing heavy clothes for warmth... it's just not my scene so I'd rather stay home. Talk about a boring life huh?
Anyway today I'm showing you guys this outfit that I wore sometime this week, I had the day off and my friend and I went for a window shopping stroll down town, ate macaroons + coffee and had a good chat. The sun was shining all day but it still wasn't safe to go about bare legged so I threw on tights and a playsuit, added some heeled booties for a bit of height and I was out there door.
Have a great weekend and I'll talk to you in my next post. xo

Outfit | Love This Life

Scarf - Outlet (Zara) | Peplum top - Primark | Bottoms - Gallerí | Casio watch | Shoes - Charity Shop | Rings - Lindex x Markets

Hope everyone's had a great start to the weekend so far, oh and if you're wondering why this title, it's because I'm currently listening to a song of the same name from T.I.'s album titled 'Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head'. The song is somewhat similar to his other song 'Whatever you like', and it sends a very great message of what's important and what's not and how we should just love this life we have instead of chasing around money, cars, shoes and jewelry.
I decided to add a statement necklace to spice up the outfit a little and that scarf. It was very comfortable throughout the day and I didn't feel too 'dressed up' either. This blazer is back again and this is sure not the last time you'll be seeing it.

And don't forget to enter the GIVEAWAY if you haven't yet done so!

Outfit | Dr. Denim Trousers

Bag, earrings - H&M | Peplum top - Primark | Trousers - Dr. Denim | Shoes - Amsterdam

Here's the outfit that I wore to dinner after relaxing at the spa last week. At first I was going to wear a black skirt but since it was freezing and windy outside I opted for these pants that I bought 2 summers ago from Dr. Denim, they were the first printed pants that I got and that's where my love for florals and aztec printed trousers began. I've got my other favourite ones from Zara but they got torn so I'm still trying to fix them and get them back to use.
These trousers are a definite go-to pair when you're feeling down in these winter months because your mood will change in no time with pretty floral designs like these have. And I just added the overly used blazer of mine to keep me warm.

Oh and what do you think of my hair, I braided one side and blow dried the other then styled it on the side, I was feeling it and ended up rocking this style for a whole week. I felt like Rihanna lol. Soon I might be getting braids again because I can't really be bothered with coming and tagging every day.

Outfit | The little black dress

Happy Thursday lovelies!
We're once again closer to the weekend, by this time I aimed to have at least done a bit of Christmas shopping to avoid all the hectic stress that follows it in the months or November and December and also to not be broke by the holidays ,but somehow I'm still here empty handed. I need to work on my procrastination.
showing a little tongue action, I blame Miley lol
Blazer - Primark | Dress, Bag - New Yorker | Ankle socks - Topshop | Shoes - Amsterdam | Necklace - Previously mum's

From my "theatre night" outfit you saw this very same blazer I'm spotting here, this outfit was worn that very same night. After the theatre it was time to hit the town with my girls and so I switched the casual bottoms and top and headed for a  lace-y mini little black dress that I hadn't worn for a very long time.

Anyway as I had mentioned in my previous post, on the 29th it was my beautiful mother's birthday. This year I decided to  surprise her with something other than some perfume and flowers (which is something I've happened to give her for the past years lol) and instead I treated her to a relaxing massage at the Blue Lagoon to help relieve some back pains I've heard her complain about the past couple of months. Dad and I kept it a secret for the past weeks and yesterday after a long day of school for me and a long day of work for her we headed straight to the Blue Lagoon for the massages and (a glass of wine for mum). We had a really great time together and she seemed very happy, this morning all I've been hearing is how better her back feels and how soft her skin is lol.

If you haven't heard of the Blue Lagoon before; it's a geothermal spa here in Iceland with heated water from the ground, to me it's makes the list for the wonders of the world. They use very rich and natural products at the spa and to everyone that comes to visit Iceland, I highly advice you visit the place because it's pure heaven on land. It's magical! Check out their site below if you want to learn more about it.

Happy Tuesday everyone.
Here's an outfit from last week, it was so hard taking these photos on the balcony by myself thus the bad quality. Next time I'll try and take the outfit photos in some more interesting place haha.
Today's actually my mum's birthday and I have a very fun surprise for her tomorrow and I'll tell you all about it in the next couple of days.

Outfit | Theatre night

Blazer - Primark | Top - H&M | Bottoms - Outlet | Wedges - Amsterdam

Happy Sunday loves, not feeling too good so I'll be taking a day off from work. Yesterday I forced myself to go though and I just felt even worse at the end of the day so it's better for me to stay at home and get some rest. It's that time of the month again where there are a lot of assignments and tests at school so I'll definitely try my hardest and study a little bit. If you follow me on Instagram then you have probably already seen this picture of the outfit that I wore last weekend to the theatre with my parents. The play we had gone to was somewhat confusing hahaþ, apart from that it was a lot of fun and it was good to be finally doing something together with my parents.
I'm sure you're all sick of these wedges that I got last year when I was in Amsterdam. I just love them so much and they are always my go to shoes when it comes to nights out.

Hola chicas!
So the weekend went by rather quickly this time around. My girls and I went out Saturday night and we had a blast. It's been long (2 weeks) since I last went out so it felt so good dressing up and putting on as much make up as I want and no one ever gave me the weird eye unlike if I had worn a red lip to school. Sunday was the usual hangover day and face pampering day. On the other hand when I woke up on Sunday I was in so much pain, my thighs were killing me (from the gym) and also I was wearing these heels for the first time after keeping them in my room for nearly 2 years. They weren't too comfortable and since I had worn them for a long period of time I somehow ended up twisting one of my toes and I feel it's paralyzed or something. I have this strange feeling when my feet touch the ground and it's been like this since Sunday, if someone knows what it could be then please let me know because it's driving me mad.

Craving | Autumn/Winter Coats

Autumn/Winter Coats
1. The jacquard coat by Zara - find it here.
2. The popper front boyfriend coat by Topshop - find it here.
3. Primark's pale pink coat.
4. Wool blend coat from H&M - find it here.
5. Zara's straight coat - find it here.
6. The 'Jeanie' textured front zip coat by Topshop - find  it here.

Yesterday I popped into Zara where I happened to try on a million of their fab winter coats. I'm telling ya I was like a kid in a candy store. All the fabric and the designs of the coats just made my little heart melt of just how gorgeous they were. I wanted to walk out of there with everything but of course that is impossible as I'm nowhere near being a millionaire haha. There was this one particular coat that was yellow and furry... man it was pretty. Okay, they were all very pretty but after trying on a couple of them and not really finding that 'one' that fits and squares me perfectly from every angle I walked out empty handed. I will return there though in the next few days to check again and also will keep my eye online too.
I really just wanted to show you guys these types of coats thus I picked a few of them from different stores so you guys would be able to find them if you're looking for something like this.

Now it's back to studying, 5 testings next week. Sometimes I feel as though my professors just load so much work on us deliberately or something. Anyway I hope you have a great Saturday and if you're going out tonight, make sure to stay safe!

Outfit | Ljósanótt 2013

H/M
Leather jacket - Outfitter's Nation | Top, Bottoms -  Stradivarius | Lipstick - Kiko | Gold chain - H&M
Earrings - Manía | Gold chain - Claire's | Peplum top - Primark | Bottoms - Outlet | Booties - Hagkaup | Lipstick - Smashbox | Bag - H&M | Blazer - Kolrassa

Hola!
Hope everyone's had a good weekend. My weekend was okay nothing fancy happened; was just working and doing school work as per usual. This morning I woke up really early so I wouldn't be late for class because last week I showed up late to almost 90% of all my classes so this week I'm definitely going to change that. Because of that early rise this morning I somehow became extremely hyper all day long and was feeling myself and my outfit and just everything around me made me happy. I don't know what the heck is going on here but it felt good, now I'm back to the ol' grumpy only want to be alone in my room watching Two and a Half Men self. In just a couple of days I've managed to finish series 6 & 7 of Two and a Half Men which is really bad considering all the amount of school work needed to be done.

On to the outfit; two weeks ago there was a festival called Ljósanótt (Night of Lights) in a town called Keflavík. It was my first time attending and on Saturday the girls and I went to a Paul Oscar (Páll Óskar) ball which was loads of fun, he's just such an amazing and fun person with a lot of energy. He entertained us from 12:00 AM until somewhere around 05:00 AM. I reunited with quite a lot of my friends since I used to live in Keflavík before moving back to Reykjavík. But now I'm back again living in Keflavík. It's complicated. I hope you liked my outfit, as you've maybe noticed there hasn't been much about #ootd posting on here since the weather just isn't allowing me to at this very moment. The wind  we're experiencing right now can definitely take one's life, in the North and East it has already started to snow so you can only imagine what it's like trying to make your tripod stand still in 20m/s kind of wind... that for sure isn't going to end well.

See you in my next post and who's been keeping up with London Fashion Week?

Italian Getaway | Spiaggia di Balestrate

H/M
Playsuit - Primark | Belt - H&M | Bag - Thrifted | Sneakers - H&M

Hello you wild thangs.
Hope so far you're all having an eventful week. Mine's been filled with a lot of studies and episodes to Two and a half men to refresh the brain. Here's my second outfit from my holiday. This day we did a lot of cycling around the the town of Trapetto where we were staying. It's beautiful around sunset. Our little bike ride led us to the next town which is Balestrate and when we found a beach we just decided to spend the rest of our afternoon there soaking up some sun and due to that I'm now suffering from dryness and my body's like a snake's. Not a good scenery at all.
There's definitely more to come so stay tuned.
