Outfit | A Hint of Floral

Jeans, bag - Zara // Heels - Deichmann // Casio watch // Blouse - Vero Moda // Necklace & earrings - H&M

Excuse the quality of the photos, they were taken around 10PM and also my photographer had consumed a bit of booze so yeah... Anyway just wanted to drop by with a quick outfit post from way back when I had lost my pictures; thankfully one of my workmates is a photographer and has an 'emergency kit' on his computer so he did manage to retrieve all my pictures.
I got the floral top in Vero Moda on sale and the high waist Zara pants are my favourite. The Deichmann heels came to mind when I was planning my outfit and by the end of the night I couldn't walk lol. They hurt so much but beauty is pain right?

Outfit | The bodycon dress

Plaid Shirt - Zara / Dress - Gina Tricot / Converse /Jewellery - H&M / Casio watch

I can't begin to explain how much I love this dress, it suits me so well and is neither too short or long, it's absolute perfection. I love wearing it during the summer when the sun here up north decides to show itself. I got it from Gina Tricot last year and I'm still happy with my purchase, layered it with a plaid shirt and denim vest for a chill and comfy vibe and topped it off with a pair of converses. Added a bunch of jewellery and I was off to enjoy my 2nd day at Secret Solstice.
For those who follow me on Instagram (@stylekrush) you might know that I spent the weekend in Malmö and Copenhagen. I was vising some relatives and friends; I had a great time and the weather was top notch! It was a great break from the rain and winds. I should be posting a few photos from that trip sometime this month, probably late July so stay tuned. xx

Outfit | Denim x Plaid Affair

Coat - Blend | Plaid shirt - Zara | Jeans - The Corner Shop (Smáralind) | Bag - H&M | Casio Watch | Shoes - Amsterdam

Hope everyone had a lovely Sunday. I slept in till noon and cooked myself a big ass breakfast for one but it probably would have fed 2-3 people (oops). It's been a very relaxing day and I decided to refresh my mind by doing a bit of cleaning/organising. I like to be surrounded by clean environments. I hate clutter.
Anyway this evening I'm coming to you with a long awaited outfit post, last week I met up with friends for some tea/coffee time and browsing through magazines at our favourite spot. We spent hours and hours chatting and later I  convinced one of the girls to take a few snaps of my outfit, and surprisingly they turned out great. I love this plaid shirt that I purchased from Zara, I've been wearing it everywhere and with pretty much anything; same goes for the denim pants, ever since I bought them they've been in use at least once each week.

That's it for today, what item are you currently loving in your wardrobe?

How To Style a Fuzzy Jumper 3 Ways

Today's post is dedicated to this cosy Sheinside jumper that you might have already seen - here and here. I challenged myself to style the jumper in 3 different ways and I'm quite happy with the end results. It was fun putting together the outfits and even more fun to take the pictures. Keep on reading to see the other two options and let me know which one is your personal favourite.
Outfit 1: Choker necklace, ankle boots - H&M | Skirt - Vero Moda | Socks - Topshop | Casio watch

Outfit | Keflavíkurnætur Day 2

Blazer, wedges, bag - H&M | Necklace - Velvet.is | Skirt - 3 Smárar
Casio watch | Earrings - Primark

Here's my outfit for Saturday, I wanted coloured and opted for this gorgeous pink blazer from H&M, I'veg got a red one as well and that's one of many ways that I like adding colour to my outfits, either with a blazer or bag. Simple while still remaining stylish. Oh and I want a bit of sexiness going on thus I wore this lace leotard that I do not even remember where it was bought, it's been that long. Believe when I tell you that I bought this mini skirt a very looooong time ago and this was the first time that I used it... that just goes to show that I definitely need to go through my wardrobe and rearrange everything.

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend and all ready for the week ahead. Myself I was free all weekend and there was a two day festival that went on this year for the first time. My girls and I decided to check it out and it was a lot of fun, there were  known Icelandic musicians playing at the main clubs all over town so there was a plenty to feed the ears and eyes.

Today I'm showing you guys my outfit for Friday night, the weather was quite good but it was windy and in all honest I just wanted a laid back comfortable look with some pretty heels that I got a couple of years back while I lived in Denmark. I've worn them very little because they aren't the most comfortable shoes out there but for this particular night I decided to suck it up and cry about the pain later; which was the next morning. I had to tip-toe around the house the first 20 minutes. Still it was all worth it. And I took out my braids, this is how my hair looks straightened, it stays like this for a few days then goes back to being the difficult hair that it is.

Outfit | Black Is In

Leather jacket - Vero Moda | Dress - Gina Tricot | Bag - Zara | Converse | Casio watch
Mum probably looking at me like "what's wrong with you and what's that face you're making?" :)
Mum's outfit is all tailored.

Happy Friday loves! Today I've got an outfit post, wore it last Wednesday when mum and I had a bit of girl time in the city. We started our day by having a very late lunch at a spot called Kaffi Sólon, it's right in the middle of the shopping street and you can get pretty much anything there. The sun was shining and overall it was a very great way to begin the day. After our lunch we walked a bit and looked in stores then we later headed to a café for some coffee.
I got this dress back in February when I visited Oslo, Norway. I just didn't get the chance to wear it and finally the sun came and I took it out to play, although I got quite uncomfortable as it got warmer outside. It's a perfect bodycon dress that is fit for many occasions; guess it all depends on how you style and wear it.

Outfit | Love This Life

Scarf - Outlet (Zara) | Peplum top - Primark | Bottoms - Gallerí | Casio watch | Shoes - Charity Shop | Rings - Lindex x Markets

Hope everyone's had a great start to the weekend so far, oh and if you're wondering why this title, it's because I'm currently listening to a song of the same name from T.I.'s album titled 'Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head'. The song is somewhat similar to his other song 'Whatever you like', and it sends a very great message of what's important and what's not and how we should just love this life we have instead of chasing around money, cars, shoes and jewelry.
I decided to add a statement necklace to spice up the outfit a little and that scarf. It was very comfortable throughout the day and I didn't feel too 'dressed up' either. This blazer is back again and this is sure not the last time you'll be seeing it.

And don't forget to enter the GIVEAWAY if you haven't yet done so!

Thirty Seconds To Mars

Blazer - Kolrassa | Bottoms - H&M | Boots - Charity Shop | Watch - Casio
Rings - Lindex & Street Markets

Happy Wednesday my lovelies! So this week started off somewhat great/not-too-good because the teachers have now gone on strike which means I'm off from school for maybe a week to 4 or even 8 weeks. They've decided to strike at the worse time and now is a  lot of confusion going on as I'm planning on graduating Christmas time this year and also the worst part is that no one has any idea of how long this will go on for. I wish upon the teachers to get their share so this can stop.

Although the strike does sort of have a positive part, it is that I now have more free time to blog and sleep in, so far I'm doing alright and I am also studying here and there by myself while many students see this as time for parties and late night shenanigans. The negative part to it is that it will eventually get boring and repetitive but I plan on being as productive as one can be when you have free time on your hands.

On to the outfit, bought this BEAUTIFUL t-shirt out in Norway after the 30 Seconds to Mars concert which was BEYOND what I expected; I mean I knew and had seen that they put up great shows and all but being there and experiencing that was a whole other thing and I wish to relive that once again in the future. If I could afford it I'd have bought so many things from their merch store. This very day (that I wore the outfit) I was feeling like wearing dark colours and letting my nail polish and the pink in the t-shirt add a 'pop' of colour so it wasn't too black. The pants I'm wearing are actually green so I'm guessing that also acts as a pop of colour right?

Outfit | Layering

Shirt, scarf - H&M | Skirt - Dótturfélagið | Bag - Dorothy Perkins | Watch - Casio
 Rings - H&M, France & Italy  | Bracelets - H&M & Swarovski

Here's an outfit featuring my new favourite thing, this beanie that I got off of Ebay and the best thing about it is that it has my name on it and it's BLACK. I love me some black yo. Anyway wore this for a bit of a straw around the mall then went on a lunch date with one of my girls. Right now I look like a hobo because I haven't done anything to my hair for weeks, it's really dry and rough and the undergrowth is killing me. Wish I had time to do braids in myself because I'm nowhere near going to pay almost $350 just to braid me when I can do it myself with my mum's help here and there. It might be time consuming and very annoying at times but I'd rather save my money than pay that kind of amount. Oh and as for this semester, so far these past couple of weeks have been great, feeling very energised most days and very ambitious to achieving my goals. Also been shopping on the side so look out for a haul post soon.

Outfit | An evening with Russell Brand

My friend Hulda's outfit:  Shoes - Hagkaup (see here
***will update later***
Blazer & t-shirt - H&M | Pants - Outlet | Bag - Thrifted | Shoes - Roots
Watch - Casio | Earrings - Gifted

Forgot to show these pictures but they are from back in December when I had gone to see Russell Brand in Harpa. The show was amazing, I learned a lot as well and had a good laugh. Lots of good jokes as well as nasty ones were made but the crow cheered on. He was amazing and I was so glad to have gone. It was also quite refreshing as I'd been taking a break from studying for my finals. I didn't want to wear a skirt or dress because there was snow outside and it was very cold but I knew I wanted some colour so I went with some basic bottoms and t-shirt then added a pink blazer to liven up the outfit a little. Went with my roots booties because they hadn't been used for a while.
What do you think of this look?

Happy Tuesday everyone.
Here's an outfit from last week, it was so hard taking these photos on the balcony by myself thus the bad quality. Next time I'll try and take the outfit photos in some more interesting place haha.
Today's actually my mum's birthday and I have a very fun surprise for her tomorrow and I'll tell you all about it in the next couple of days.

Outfit | Laid-Back

Scarf - H&M | Jumper - Silvian Heach | Leggings - Gifted | Sneakers - Vans | Watch - Casio

Happy Sunday loves!
Yesterday I was a home sick but today I'm feeling a little bit better so I'll be off to work in a bit and later tonight I've got a huge test to study for which is tomorrow so wish me luck and hopefully I'll have the strength to study all night. At first I wasn't going to publish this outfit as it isn't too appealing to me. It was raining and gloomy that day so it was impossible to take the pictures outdoors and thus I took them in my room, but due to not having found that perfect 'spot' yet and outside being so dark it was hard to take some good quality pictures. But because I wanted to show this over sized jumper of mine from SH. You might have already seen it in my last 'new in' post.
Nothing much more, I hope you have a lovely Sunday.

Happy Friday loves.
I'm excited for the weekend because I'll be attending a couple of parties which should be a lot of fun. This week went by quite fast in my opinion which means that we're one week closer to the Christmas exams and finals. Nothing much entertaining happened this week really; although I did happen to do a little bit of shopping and you'll probably be seeing that stuff in a couple of days  from now. Wore this outfit a couple of days ago and I loved it, the skirt is so comfortable and these chelsea boots have been my all time faves since my mother walked into my bedroom with them. They are great for autumn/winter and they are basically what I happen to live in during those times.

Have a safe weekend.

Italian Getaway | Dinner at Sunset

don't mind my messy hair, i'd just stepped out of the shower.
Earrings, Neon bag, shirt - H&M | Shorts - Nostalgía | Sandals - New Yorker | Watch - Casio

Having been to Italy before, that time I was in Florence and my parents and I always used to go out for dinner each night and everything seemed in the norm. But then this time around while in Sicily, we were always the first people to show up at restaurants because people there eat their dinner around 11pm which was very surprising. Anyway wore this outfit after a long fay at the beach. I wouldn't call it dressy but it's somewhat not to casual either; although you could easily transform it to a dressy by adding a cute pair of wedges.
There aren't too many outfits from my trip as I lived in my bikini pretty much most of the time and also it was just too hot for blog-worthy clothes thus there won't be anymore outfit posts from the  trip. But I've got loads of photographs of churches and you name it so those you should expect to see in the next few weeks.
