Washington D.C | Part 2 (new hairstyle & shopping trips)

Hi you lovers, thank you so much for all your sweet and nice comments on my last post. I truly enjoyed reading them and because of you I feel like my blog has improved tremendously, and so have my writing skills. I'm happy for my followers and thank you for making me reach 70. I remember when I started out with like 4 followers for almost a year hahah.

Now without further ado here is the second part of my trip. This part is mostly based on all my shopping trips that I took through the whole visit. There are also some outfit photographs and some scenery ones too, enjoy!

Yes I wore the blue jacket way too much but I love it so... and it's the only one I took with me because I had to save space for things to be purchased. And mind you these pictures where all photographed on different days that's why we have pretty similar outfits.

I hope you enjoyed this post. And there is more to come :)

Washington D.C | Part 1 (at the airport)

Hello pretty girls (and boys?), hope you're all doing well and are enjoying the beginning of a new year. 2011 was great for me and many great things took place. I'm very blessed to have my family and everyone being healthy is all I could wish for. Hope all your wishes came true.

As most of you know after Christmas my mum and I took a 10 day trip to Washington D.C (Maryland) where we visited my aunt. We spent New Years Eve over there and we had so much fun. Eating zambian food everyday was such a pleasure since here you can barely find the ingredients needed or they are just way overly priced.

I took a LOT of photos whilst there and I am currently in the editing and choosing which ones to post work. It takes up time and, I've also decided to cut them in parts so here is part one :)

At the airport
Items: beanie, necklace & tights - H&M, bangle/cuff - christmas gift, shorts - DIY, nails - no room for the blues
Oh it was so yummy!

and this frappuchino thingy... can't recall the name but it was so yumm
And here you can really see how bad my skin is, damn you chicken pox.

Hope you enjoyed this post and more to come, also I was thinking of doing a resolutions post... let me know below if you would be interested to see that.

*kisses*
