New school year, new place to live in and more responsibilities. I'm back in Amsterdam and these coming weeks I'll be relocating to my new place for the next three years or so. It's a studio on campus, but unfurnished and therefore I have to purchase everything myself so that's where this post comes in. I've been looking at inspiration from all over social media and so far I have an idea of what I'd like my place to look like... I want it to look relatively similar to the above collage. I would like for the bedroom to be black and white with a hint of green (I currently have some plants that I've been slowly buying). Just wanted to give you all a lil' glimpse into my mind.

D.I.Y | Revamping an old table

I bought this table about a year ago from a second hand store (I love going to such stores), whether it's for clothes or interior decor; especially when I've got something up my sleeve that I'd like to try out. It's always a good place to go because if it doesn't turn out as planned, then you needn't worry about having spent too much money on something useless. Below is a lil' project I did, I re-vamped this KR. 1.000 table from black to white, I kept the marble part just as it was at first.

This very industrial styled apartment in Stockholm, is home to photographer and interior designer  Benedikte Ugland and her two daughters. It features a mix of old & new furniture, concrete, black flooring & some beautiful Moroccan tiles & brass fittings in the bathroom ... love the way Benedikte has wrapped the lights around the black pole!

Happy Easter everyone and I hope you all had a lovely day with your families. Recently I've been lacking inspiration or I either just don't have the time; which usually results in me taking breaks from blogging. Today though I wanted to show you some kitchen inspiration in case someone out there is in the middle of decorating their studio/apartment. I know I cannot wait for the day that I will move out so I can keep changing my home decor every few weeks to what suits me. I keep up with a lot of Scandinavian interior designers, Swedish ones in particular and my favourite is Benedikte Ugland. I love her mix of old and new furniture, concrete and also some Moroccan tiles which are always a beautiful touch.  Good morning beautiful people. It's a very beautiful and sunny Monday over here and I've got the day of which is something I really need seeing as I think I've somehow managed to twist a hamstring and it's really painful to walk. Anyway today I don't plan on doing much really, just stay at home with a good book and catch up on some blogs while preparing a few posts to come. Recently I've found myself obsessing more and more over darker tones of everything; like literally. Whether it be shoes, clothes, make up and even home decor pieces. It all seems that I'm slowly but surely approaching the dark side...

Just a lil' bit of inspiration to get your Sunday morning going. Currently I've been loving and looking a lot into home decor blogs, magazines and even boards on Pinterest and I decided why not post a couple of pictures on here in case someone is in need of some decor ideas for their home. For my home (whenever that will be) I will want it to be more modern but with a few antique pieces to break up the modernity of the place.

Morning guys, so December's finally here and that only means one thing, eating lots of cookies, final exams of and cosy days indoors with your favourite book. This morning I woke up to the devastating news of finding out that one of my very favourite actors, Paul Walker has passed. Apparently him and another guy who had been driving lost control of the car and they crushed into a tree and the car caught fire. I can only imagine the pain that their relatives and family are going through... so sad and I'll most definitely keep their families in my prayers. The Fast and the Furious series will not be the same from now on.

On a brighter note, I've been studying a bit the past couple of days, but today I will definitely get into beast mode. I've got my first exam on Tuesday then the second one is the day after. This morning I started my day out but making some waffles for the fam with some hot chocolate, it's raining outside so it was only appropriate to do so. Lately I've been obsessed with interior design, especially bedrooms though I am constantly trying to change up my room as it's the place that I spend most of my time in and I have a tendency to make it very cosy, comfy and chic at the same time. Since we moved here I haven't yet put up any shelves or pictures up on the walls so that's what I plan to do as soon as I'm finished with my finals.

I'm now on spring break till Wednesday of next week and that very same day I will be having a testing in Mathematics, so my break will be partially spent working, studying and in-between chillaxing with the fam and munching on anything I can get my tiny hands on.
This past weekend my boyfriend and I stayed at a summerhouse with another couple (our friends) for two nights, we had good food and had an overall great time. Those of you who follow me on instagram might have seen a few pictures from the weekend. Enough rambling and on with this post...

Recently I've been very inspired by all-white rooms whether it be a bedroom, living room or even a bathroom. For this post I chose to write about all white bedroom with almost all white furnishing. I love the simplicity and chicness it gives the room. Adding fur is also a pretty good idea of decorating.
I'm counting days till we  move this summer so I can re-decorate my room the way I want it to be, I ain't about that now... busy with other things.


Now I will leave you guys to go on  with your lives and I, myself will go out for a walk in this steamy sun.
