How I run errands

I'm officially off work the next 5 days! I'm excited to relax at home and recharge my batteries as well as spend some time with my dear mum. I also have to run a few errands during my free time, and hopefully if the weather allows then maybe they'll be an outfit or two on here next week. But for now, here's an outfit from when I was running some errands last week. I got the long checkered vest off of Ebay and was styling it for the 2nd time. Mum begged me to take the ''extra hanging material off of me''; because apparently it ruined the outfit, but I actually like how it turned out and went about my day.

D.I.Y | Revamping an old table

I bought this table about a year ago from a second hand store (I love going to such stores), whether it's for clothes or interior decor; especially when I've got something up my sleeve that I'd like to try out. It's always a good place to go because if it doesn't turn out as planned, then you needn't worry about having spent too much money on something useless. Below is a lil' project I did, I re-vamped this KR. 1.000 table from black to white, I kept the marble part just as it was at first.

Mum's Graduation Ceremony

Hey everybody, hope you're having a relaxed Sunday evening. Yesterday my mum received her B.A Degree in Social Education from The University of Iceland so you know it was a long joyous day. On Friday night before we prepared some food and got beverages ready for Saturday as we wouldn't have time to prepare everything from scratch after the graduation ceremony. We got up very early on Saturday morning and helped mum get ready - outfit styling and make-up by yours truly.

Insta-Krush // #12

Last October I spent a few days in Berlin, I was helping my dad get settled as he moved there for a couple of months. As you can see from the title, these are some favourites of mine from Instagram - you can find me @stylekrush.

Overall I had a really great time and it was my first time visiting Berlin, I'd bee to Cologne before and there we rented a car and drove to Amsterdam. Berlin's a great city with a lot of history, it felt like an accomplishment and also surreal to actually see the Berlin Wall after only reading about it in History classes. I went on a day tour of the highly anticipated tourist attractions with a hop-on hop-off bus which was very convenient.
I'm planning on going again soon for  a short visit, but I'm still thinking of where else to go from there seeing as I'll be in mainland Europe and I want to visit more countries; not just Scandinavia.

Have you been to Berlin and if so, what did you like most about the city?

New In | Justine Heels

Greetings everybody - hope you´re having an awesome week. In this post I talked about downsizing my shopping habits, but of course I wasn't talking about completely abandoning my love for shopping, especially there's a good deal online. Now that that's out there, I'm stoked to show you these beautiful sky-high navy blue heels that I got from Public Desire. You might have noticed that I love their shoes because I already own a couple of pairs from them and most of them are comfortable enough to walk in. This time around I opted for a more chunkier heel, they may seem inconvenient but I've worn them around the house and it's literally like walking on clouds plus they provide me with a few cm´s. I'm anxiously awaiting summer so I can really show you how gorgeous they're in person, they're so versatile and can go with anything from a bodycon dress to a pair of loose trousers topped off with a blazer.

You can find them here (33%) and similar ones here.

Get The Look : Wide Leg Trousers

Happy new week! Now I'm sure that you've all seen the wide leg trousers trend quite a lot lately, well today I've recreated a look inspired by the fashionable mother of three Miss. Folake, also known as Style Pantry. You can find her full look here. I absolutely love how she paired the bright trousers with a toned down off-the-shoulder blouse so in the picture above, I've created a look inspired by hers but it's more cold weather appropriate seeing as much of us live in colder climates. I thought adding a trench coat and ball of fur would finish off the outfit nicely.

What do you think of the outfit and do you keep up with the Style Pantry?

10 Things About Me

Throwback to last summer in Malmö.

Hello everybody - hope you've all had an eventful week and are looking forward to the weekend, unfortunately for me I'll be busy with work this weekend so nothing much will be happening over here. Today I felt like sharing a few things about myself to interact with all of you and hopefully some of you can relate to some of these things, so here we go.

Top 5 Winter Nail Polishes

From L-R: O.P.I - Unfor-greta-bly-blue & Lost My Bikini in Molokini // Barry M - Racing Green // Essie - Chinchilly & Bordeux

Today I'm sharing my top 5 nail polishes for winter. These are the shades I find myself gravitating towards a lot this time of the year, I've mentioned many times on the blog how much I love the O.P.I Lincoln park after dark shade - it's the most gorgeous deep burgundy shade I've ever come across and it'll remain one of my all time favourites for years to come! As you can see the shades above are quite different from one another, reason being that I want everyone to find a shade they like, not everyone digs dark vampy or forest green colours like I do so maybe the lighter shades can be of help if you're looking into trying any.

Let me know in the comments below if you've tried any of these nail polishes.

January Favourites

It's hard to even think and reflect on the fact that we're onto the 2nd month in such a short period of time. I literally have no clue where January went, I feel as if I didn't do much last month aside from stressing about what's to come...

On a more positive note, today I'm sharing with you a few beauty related items that I've been absolutely loving this past month. Most of these products have already made their debut on the blog - except for my relatively new foundation, which is from MAC and I've been using it for a little over a month. Plus I'm going to share with you another product that I'm certain will stay a favourite of mine for quite some time.
