Happy Sunday guys. As I've mentioned before the weather here isn't very summer-like. It rains, then the sun comes out for only about 1-2 hours WHEN I'm working and then disappears again and it's back to rain and gloomy skies. The next day this routine repeats itself and it's very frustrating, all I ask for is a bit of sun to take some summer appropriate outfits.
Anyway the other day I went ahead and set my tripod and camera ready, put on a somewhat of a summery outfit and shot some pictures indoors just to give you guys a break from the heavy coats and whatnot. Loved the results and I'll definitely be doing more of this, and as soon as I finish taking the photos I go straight back into my comfy PJ's.

World Cup 2014 Fashion || Part 1

World Cup Look #1
The weekend went by very fast, didn't even feel like a weekend really seeing as I've been working straight the last four days. The World Cup's begun and I cannot tell you guys how much I'm excited for this moment, I've always been a huge football fan (please don't go on commenting about how it's called soccer and not football, we come from different continents...). I happen to have a few favourite teams and I'll talk about them in another post, it's always a pleasure seeing one of the many teams that I support go through to the finals, the last World Cup was amazaaaaazin seeing as my favourite team got the title of World Champions!

This first outfit is very casual and laid back, there's been a lot of rain and so a raincoat or umbrella would be necessary although probably uncomfortable for those sitting behind and next to you. A hat would be fine, it'd get wet but wouldn't be too much in the way of others as an umbrella would.

World Cup Look #2

For the 2nd outfit I chose a light flowy white dress with a sweetheart neckline, perfect summer item and add a few earth toned accessories and you're all ready for the game while still being stylish. Add a scarf of your favourite team or do it through your face make up. A raincoat is a must to keep your pretty dress from being ruined!

Anyway I've got even more football game appropriate outfits planned as the competition goes on so stay tuned if you'd be interested in seeing more. Do you guys watch as much football as I do? Because my whole family we even stay up late to watch a game despite having an early start the very next day; that's how dedicated we are.

Outfit | Inspired by Miley

Crop top - New Yorker | Shorts - Nostalgía | Wedges - Amsterdam

Good morning loves, today I'm coming to you with a look that I had worn last Saturday to celebrate a friend's birthday. I headed straight to the party after work, switched out the tights for bare legs and the vans that I had worn to work with these uber comfortable wedges. For work I had on a jumper and I switched that one out for a crop top. My goal was to feel free and just do me so I decided to try the pig tail buns to make the look more unique. I was ready in 5 minutes and I had a great time with my girls.
This look was inspired by Miley Cyrus, do you like it?

Outfit | "Nostalgia's for geeks" - Lady Gaga

The title of this post are lyrics from Lady Gaga's new single "Applause". I'm obsessed with the song and it's on constant repeat.
Hi, it's been a long time ehh?
This summer's coming to an end and it's by far been one of my favourites. I was blessed to get to travel to France (Nimes) and Italy (Milan and Sicily) which was a blast. I spent one week in France and two weeks in Italy where I ended up with a not-so-fun rash all over my body and it itched like crazy so I ended up going to the emergency room and getting 3 shots in the butt cheek... haven't had one of these in a long time so I winced a little.
My summer has been great and I am very thankful for having being able to visit these two totally different places and learning about the culture. More about my Italy trip will be up on the blog probably early September or so.
This outfit is from a while ago before I even went to Italy but hadn't had time to post it thus why I'm doing that now. My parents invited me for lunch at Gylltikötturinn which is a restaurant in the city. The food was so good and I'll definitely be going there again soon. Afterwards my parents went for happy hour at Slippbarinn which is located right by the Reykjavík vity Harbour and so I tagged along and ended up ordering two very tasty non-alcoholic mojitos. I will also be going there soon.

Hopefully you guys enjoyed this post, I know I've been slacking A LOT this month but promise to step up my game once I get everything settled with school as I'm wrestling with so many difficult subjects this semester.
See you in my next post!

Currently Craving | Jersey shirt, Zara goodies & Red Lippie

H/M
Cravings #2

Hello. Happy August and hope everyone is doing well, I'm so excited because in exactly 4 days I'll be out to Italy in the sun again. #ThankYouLord.
Haven't blogged in a bit due to not being able to access the internet because the past weekend we were moving into a new place and we won't have internet for the next days so for now I'm using my 3g wi-fi from my phone, thank god for iphones right? I now live about 30-40 minutes drive from the capital city, I used to live here before so it's not all totally new for me.
Anyway it's early morning and I don't at all feel too good, just wanna puke and go back to bed, I'm suffering from a bad headache and I just want it to go away.
Above are the things that I'm sort of craving as we speak; especially the jersey shirt, been seeing it on pretty much everyone in the outer world but not much here so I might be a trendsetter who knows.
I hope you enjoyed this and see you guys in my next post... whenever that will be.

ciao.

Away With Me | On top of the World

Day 5

Tank top - New Yorker | Bandeau - New Yorker | Shorts - Nostalgía | Bag - Zara | Shoes - Vans

Here's the final outfit post from my one week trip to Nîmes.
I decided to wear my high waist shorts again for the second day in a row which I know is a fashion no-no but oh well, I like the shorts and wanted to get some use out of them. I felt so good wearing these like you guys don't even know lol. I felt like the main bad bitch.
That day we toured the Arena of Nîmes which was incredible, I had been in the arena itself earlier for a concert but this time we got to see every little aspect of it, we went down these mysterious hall ways and luckily it was very sunny so it wasn't too creepy. At last we went to the very top of the building which was quite frightening as I suffer from Acrophobia but still it was a lot of fun being up there and looking over the ruins of the city. I'm telling ya it felt as if I was on top of the world. After the tour we had dinner at a nice restaurant right in front of the arena called Brasserie Des Arenes where I somehow ended up ordering raw mince beef topped with a raw egg... I have no idea how I ended up with raw food considering that the menu was in French and English. Maybe the many glasses of wine I enjoyed in the sun before were playing me.

This was the first time I was visiting France and I'm very happy with everything, I enjoyed myself and so did the boo and we most definitely would like to visit again, but of course another place. I hope everyone liked the outfit posts; though by the feedback from the previous posts I'm thinking you all did enjoy these.

Till next time.

Away With Me | High waist Levis shorts

Day 4

On our way to town, decided to pose for one picture before I became a hot mess in the heat.

At our favourite place to have lunch, La Paseo and of course me enjoying my first wine glass of many.

I'm obsessed with taking pictures like these of my outfits.
Dinner at La Camargue
At the end of our day, did a little shopping, mostly hair products and extensions eeek.

Playsuit - Primark
 Shorts - Nostalgía (seen here)
Bag - New Yorker
 Earrings - H&M
Shoes - Vans

This is the second last outfit post from my trip, I've been receiving really good feedback on my previous ones and I just want to thank each and every one of you so much for the support. It really means a lot to me and all your comments are very much appreciated.
As for this outfit I really wanted to wear the playsuit again so I paired it with a new purchase of mine; which was by the way a splurge, these high rise Levis shorts from Nostalgía. I love them and they are like the perfect pair of shorts. For shoes I went with my trusty Vans that I've had for the longest time but never wore until my other blue ones got a little too raggedy from the festival that I attended a while back so I decided to take these ones with me on the trip and I basically lived in them throughout my holiday.

See you guys in my next post.

Outfit | Turbans, Elephants & Cheetahs

Earrings - Topshop | Blazer - Kolrassa | Top, Bag - New Yorker | Bottoms - Zara | Shoes - Amsterdam

This outfit was supposed to be published a few weeks behind, but due to my laziness it ended up chilling in my folder until now. I decided to touch up a little bit on the photos with pure patience and took my time to make sure everything was in place and that the colours weren't too bright or too dark. I must admit that it was quite fun editing these photos as I think this is my all time favourite look from the month of July.

Anyways, the occasion was my dad's friends' birthday gathering. It was filled with music and foood. Omg the cakes were so gooood, especially one which had particles of daim chocolate in it omg. I kept on eating till you could easily spot my belly through my top. Overall it was a lot of fun and I enjoyed myself quite well.

Outfit | Feeling Arty

 | Denim shirt - Friendex | High waist shorts - Primark | Tights, necklace - H&M | Boots - Thrifted
| Bag - Rainbows | Head scarf - Outlet | Watch - Casio |

Sup! hope everyone's good and enjoying your summer holidays.
Today I woke up feeling quite artistic therefore I wanted to showcase it through my outfit. I really wanted to wear shots today as the sun was shining most of the day and so I opted for the high waist ones that I got a couple of months back. I have only worn them twice already but only showed one look on the blog (here). That was more of a dressed up look for me so this time I wanted to go more casual with a lot of prints going on so I went with 2; polka dots and florals and this is what the end result was. Although I wasn't too sure if the oxblood shorts would work with the floral tights but I loved the look in the mirror so I went ahead and wore the look.

Today was a pretty chilled out day, dad and I spent the day together looking at cars and visited my favourite café/bookstore downtown and later in the evening I had summer classes.
Now I'm off to sip on some tea and read a good book.
