How Would You Wear | Christmas Party Outfit

I'm so thankful to GOD for this day in particular because I've finally concluded my Upper Secondary/High School/Gymnasium (Iceland always finds a way to complicate things), after 4 years of struggling but I made sure to never think of quitting or taking a year or one semester break which for many I've noticed ended up turning into a whole 2 years of "break". Here we call it Menntaskóli, a completion of the 4 year program provides you with ' stúdentspróf ' which is our version of a upper secondary certificate which is required for entry to most universities in Iceland. And since it's similar to a college and it pretty much determines your future, I will say that I 'majored' in Business and Economics. More about the topic in another post.

Outfit | Zambia's 50th Independence Party

H/M
Blazer - kolrassa // Chitenge/ankara shirt - Zambia // Skater skirt - Vero Moda
Wedges - H&M // Earrings - Leonard

If you are following me on the gram, you might have seen that this past Saturday I attend a party to celebrate my home country's jubilee. We organized a little get-together for close friends and family seeing as there are so few of us in Iceland; at least those we know (people still don't understand why I live here lol). Maaan the food was so good and I made sure to stuff myself with all the chicken and beef I could handle because later that same night I went to see Hopsin in concert. It was his 3rd time here and I always missed out on the first two concerts, but this time I made sure to show up and on TIME.
At the end of the Zambian party I switched outfits to a more warmer one, you can see a picture on my Instagram @stylekrush. Overall I had a very eventful weekend and it got my mind off school for a bit but now I'm stuck with a workload to get through...

How Would You Wear | Mixed Prints

Earrings - Six | Playsuit - H&M | Skirt - Gyllti Kötturinn | Heels - Nine West

Happy new week! Today I'm coming to you with another outfit as part of the group myself and other bloggers are in whereby each month there's a different theme agreed upon and our goal is to put together an outfit based upon that very theme. The creator of the group is - Diane (DeeVine Anonyme) , make sure you check out her blog for all things fashion and some pretty dope nail art designs!

For this month our theme was Mixed Prints and I opted for my beautiful vintage chiffon/pleated skirt that I wear very little so I decided to bring it out this time and also I wanted to go  more for a feminine look, added a playsuit from H&M as a top because of the romantic hearts print on it. I didn't want to add a blazer or jacket because the pictures were taken inside and I just wanted the focus to be on these two pieces. What do you think of my take on this fun theme?

And here's a picture of all the beautiful bloggers that took part, check out their blogs below and do show them some love.

Outfit | Hello October

Jacket - Vero Moda | Shirt, earrings - H&M | Beanie - Ebay

Welcoming October with open arms, the leaves are in the process of turning brown meaning my favourite season is here. I've been looking forward to the layering of clothes, hot chocolate and being able to wear my beanies without looking like a fool because I tend to do it during summer as well.
I took these photos sometime back in August and completely forgot about them so that's why I'm showing them to you today. I felt like such a cool tomboy in this hahah, my Vero Moda jacket does no wrong and I'm in great need of another one because I'm sure all of you are already tired of seeing this same garment over and over again.

I hope everyone's having a great week so far and that you're keeping yourselves warm because the weather here is crazy. Things are flying all over the place and so many car accidents, it's frightening.

Outfit | Red Blazer

Blazer, wedges, necklace - H&M | Top - New Yorker | Ripped jeans - Amsterdam

Just wanted to show you an outfit from about a year ago, I really liked the way it looked; especially the hair. This is exactly what inspired me to have my hair the way I do today because back then I'd loved it so much and decided why not try it again. These black wedges haven't appeared on the blog for quite sometime now but seeing as winter's approaching they're bound to have an appearance very soon.

Outfit | Black Is In

Leather jacket - Vero Moda | Dress - Gina Tricot | Bag - Zara | Converse | Casio watch
Mum probably looking at me like "what's wrong with you and what's that face you're making?" :)
Mum's outfit is all tailored.

Happy Friday loves! Today I've got an outfit post, wore it last Wednesday when mum and I had a bit of girl time in the city. We started our day by having a very late lunch at a spot called Kaffi Sólon, it's right in the middle of the shopping street and you can get pretty much anything there. The sun was shining and overall it was a very great way to begin the day. After our lunch we walked a bit and looked in stores then we later headed to a café for some coffee.
I got this dress back in February when I visited Oslo, Norway. I just didn't get the chance to wear it and finally the sun came and I took it out to play, although I got quite uncomfortable as it got warmer outside. It's a perfect bodycon dress that is fit for many occasions; guess it all depends on how you style and wear it.

The weekend's finally here and I'm working both days while everyone else is out camping or at the four day Þjóðhátið festival that's going on in Vestmanneyjar - Vestmann Islands. I've never been to this festival before because it's always raining and I don't enjoy getting wet or being outside in the mad wearing heavy clothes for warmth... it's just not my scene so I'd rather stay home. Talk about a boring life huh?
Anyway today I'm showing you guys this outfit that I wore sometime this week, I had the day off and my friend and I went for a window shopping stroll down town, ate macaroons + coffee and had a good chat. The sun was shining all day but it still wasn't safe to go about bare legged so I threw on tights and a playsuit, added some heeled booties for a bit of height and I was out there door.
Have a great weekend and I'll talk to you in my next post. xo

Hope everyone's well. I spent the past week mostly at home sick, eating a lot and exercising very little and watching a lot of documentaries; especially VICE and National Geography ones. I like learning even though I'm on summer break but this is a more fun way to do it and I'm all for that.
Lately there hasn't been much time nor inspiration for outfit picture taking and all that comes with it so for today's post you guys get to see some of my favourite outfits from the past couple of months. It's no surprise that this goddamn Vero Moda/Only leather jacket is in almost all of the outfit pics, but I cannot help my love for it. Goes with EVERYTHING plus it's a great item to add warmth for our unpredictable weather. Today I'm free from work so I should be seeing some friends and I plan on dressing up just because I can.

Outfit | Simplicity

Necklace - Velvet.is | Jumper - Sheinside | Shorts - Nostalgía | Sneakers - Converse
 Earrings - Lindex

Happy Sunday guys. As I've mentioned before the weather here isn't very summer-like. It rains, then the sun comes out for only about 1-2 hours WHEN I'm working and then disappears again and it's back to rain and gloomy skies. The next day this routine repeats itself and it's very frustrating, all I ask for is a bit of sun to take some summer appropriate outfits.
Anyway the other day I went ahead and set my tripod and camera ready, put on a somewhat of a summery outfit and shot some pictures indoors just to give you guys a break from the heavy coats and whatnot. Loved the results and I'll definitely be doing more of this, and as soon as I finish taking the photos I go straight back into my comfy PJ's.

Outfit | Pretty In Pink

Top - H&M | Shoes - Roots | Bag - Zara

I cannot believe that this is actually from the summer 2012, it's crazy how time flies. I was attending a wedding and it was windy so I just went with some floral jeans with a matching pink blazer to keep things cool. I was feeling this outfit, very comfortable and laid-back. Today I'm working and hopefully later I'll go see Transformers 4; so excited to see me some Mark Walhberg... he's my boo :)

Vintage Ralph Lauren

Jacket - Vero Moda | RL vitange polo - Spúútník | Shorts - Nostalgía | Tights - H&M
Socks - Topshop | Vans

Finally after a very long wait and many phone calls my computer's back. Man life was really hard without it, I feel like I sort of missed out on the social net even though I had another computer that I was using; it's just that it's not the same as using my own. Anyway these photos were supposed to be posted a loooong time ago but they are here now. It was all about comfort and not stacking on too many things :) My week will be spent working seeing as that's what I do these days. Have a good one!xx

Outfit | Green

H/M
Scarf - Zara | Bottoms & Booties - H&M

I'm not too keen on these pictures because they were taken right after spending 10 hours straight of studying, but I've just decided why not post them seeing as I don't have time to take new ones with this jumper that I really want to show you guys how it looks on. You can wear it with pretty much anything; it'd look very good tucked into some high waist skirt or even on top a dress. Although the weather's becoming a little warmer, it's still wearable on this side of the globe. You'll be seeing this baby again.

Outfit | Love This Life

Scarf - Outlet (Zara) | Peplum top - Primark | Bottoms - Gallerí | Casio watch | Shoes - Charity Shop | Rings - Lindex x Markets

Hope everyone's had a great start to the weekend so far, oh and if you're wondering why this title, it's because I'm currently listening to a song of the same name from T.I.'s album titled 'Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head'. The song is somewhat similar to his other song 'Whatever you like', and it sends a very great message of what's important and what's not and how we should just love this life we have instead of chasing around money, cars, shoes and jewelry.
I decided to add a statement necklace to spice up the outfit a little and that scarf. It was very comfortable throughout the day and I didn't feel too 'dressed up' either. This blazer is back again and this is sure not the last time you'll be seeing it.

And don't forget to enter the GIVEAWAY if you haven't yet done so!

Outfit | Oversized Shirt & High Waisted Shorts

Doing the songster signature pose.
Jacket - Vero Moda | Plaid shirt - Spúútník | 30STM tee - Merch store | Shorts - Nostalgía
 Beanie - Gyllti Kötturinn | Bag - Zara | Shoes - Ebay

Another outfit featuring my favourite and probably the most expensive piece as well, this leather jacket is making yet one more appearance on the blog. I'm unlike many bloggers that only wear many of their clothes only once, well I'm not so rich to be able to do that so being repetitive is the only way to go :). So when I find something I love I will wear it as much as possible although I also will be careful so it doesn't get spoiled or something. This jacket's been my favourite for very long now and I don't regret buying at all. It's a great staple and it's different from the usual black leather jackets. I loved wearing this outfit and it felt very 'me' like and on top of that it was very comfortable for a day out with friends.
I wish you all a great rest of the week and to those that have exams coming up like myself, good luck and stay hydrated!

Outfit | Earth Toned Colours

H/M
Striped tee, Cardigan - H&M | Shorts - Nostalgía | Earrings - Six | Sneakers - Deichmann

Wore this outfit on  Monday for school. Wanted something that was comfy with some high waist shorts + sneakers and this was my result. I was feeling it although having the sleeves of the stripped tee showing through kind of bothered me a little bit. I tend to neglect some of my clothes but this time on I'm opting to wearing abandoned clothing pieces more often just so I get use out of everything I have because trust me, there are a lot of clothes behind my closet that need some love.

Till next time.x

Outfit | Broken Strings

H/M
Leather jacket - Vero Moda | Shirt, pants, bag, shoes - H&M

Happy Mondnay loves! I'm currently on my Easter break and don't return to school until the 22nd so there's plenty time for blogging and I'll also start prepping for my finals since they start on the 6th and the last day of class is on the 5th of May.

One might think that this post is sponsored by H&M or something like that, but I promise you it's not. It's just that it's one of my favourite stores that I cannot ever travel abroad without having  to at least look through the window if there isn't time to go into the store; although with me there's always time for H&M. My whole love for H&M began when I used to live in Denmark about 3 years ago, my friends and I would always go to the mall after school and that's when I discovered H&M and ever since, every time I travel we're always inseparable. Their pieces are just so laid-back and timeless and also the prices don't make too much of a damage to my wallet so that's always a plus!

Oh and yesterday was a grand morning since the moment I woke up I happened to find out that H&M will be teaming up with Alexander Wang!!! I'm so freaking excited it's not even funny. I love his creations and those infamous bags and shoes, hope they will provide us with some great long lasting  and hopefully not too pricey pieces.

Outfit | Colour Splash

Leather Jacket - Vero Moda | Fuzzy jumper - Gina Tricot | Dress - Zara |  Shoes - Ebay
 Bag, Necklace, Scarf - H&M

Wore this outfit sometime last week when I had lunch with a few friends and I really wanted to wear my pretty dress from Zara and since it was a bit cold outside I thought it would be a great idea to throw on this cosy jumper that I'd shown you guys in my recent 'New In' post. These two colours contrasted well again each other and for a bit of height I added on my also new chunky heeled booties from Ebay. Last but not least I threw on my favourite leather jacket which I seem to be wearing every single day nowadays so be prepared to see it in quite a lot of my upcoming outfit posts. I'm starting to think that I maybe should have bought it in black as well.
I absolutely loved this outfit and it felt so 'me', like does that ever happen to you too?

Outfit | Blogger Style Swap w/ Diane

 Shirt - H&M | Skirt - Vero Moda | Tights - Hagkaup | Shoes - Ebay

Hello guys! So today I have a different and very exciting post for you all featuring Diane of Dee Vine Anonyme. She's been a reader of my blog all the way from the very beginning and it's always  a pleasure reading her blog. Also I feel like I know her even though we've never met a day in my life. Hopefully it'll happen in the future because I think she's a cool person to hang out and go shopping with. It's also amazing how much her blog's grown and evolved so much, very inspiring. If you lack inspiration for outfits then I highly suggest you check out her blog; you won't be disappointed.

So as I was saying, I'm taking part in a segment of hers' titled 'blogger style swap' where her and another fellow blogger choose an outfit of the other person's and remake it. You could choose to have it the same exact or just similar colours and/or textures and items or switch it up a little bit. I chose her outfit above because it's something I'd totally see myself wear and a also I wanted to use my new shirt. I didn't find any shirt similar to the one she's wearing so I just went with this polka dotted one and my current favourite booties from Ebay, will be talking about them in my next post so stay tuned. I really liked the way the whole look turned out.
