How Would You Wear | Christmas Party Outfit

3:00 PM

I'm so thankful to GOD for this day in particular because I've finally concluded my Upper Secondary/High School/Gymnasium (Iceland always finds a way to complicate things), after 4 years of struggling but I made sure to never think of quitting or taking a year or one semester break which for many I've noticed ended up turning into a whole 2 years of "break". Here we call it Menntaskóli, a completion of the 4 year program provides you with ' stúdentspróf ' which is our version of a upper secondary certificate which is required for entry to most universities in Iceland. And since it's similar to a college and it pretty much determines your future, I will say that I 'majored' in Business and Economics. More about the topic in another post.

Dress - H&M | Heels - Deichmann (seen here) | Lipstick - Maybelline

Back to the topic of this post, this is yet another collaboration along with other bloggers where each month we get a theme to style our outfits around. In case you don't already know, the collab was started by Diane of Dee-Vine Anonyme, make sure to check out her blog. This month's theme was to create a Christmas Party outfit and I chose to wear this beautiful strapless dress from H&M with gold embellishments. It's a tad too small on me but you didn't have to know that, I still rock it, I kept the accessories minimal with some sparkly earrings and heels with gold detailing to bring out the gold in the dress and just casually pulled my hair into a side bun. The bold lip was there just to add a bit of a holiday feel to the entire outfit and there you have it, chic and classy with not much of an effort.
