How Would You Wear | Off-Shoulder

Good afternoon from Berlin! I've been here since Tuesday and as always, I love it. I always appreciate travelling to different cities because I feel it helps me grow as an individual and it's overall better to refresh mind the mind in a new environment. This post was actually supposed to go up last night but I was just too exhausted to work on it so that's what I've been doing all morning and seeing as I'm finally finished, I'm about to get ready and head out to explore, I think I'd love to check out some museums today or go sailing.

Inspiration: Soft Colours

Summer '16 outfit

By estherni featuring a trench coat

In case you didn't already know, lace, pom poms, prints-on-prints and nautical patterns are some of the hottest trends right now. I decided on putting together an outfit styled around the gorgeous dress above. I think the look is classy and well put together, keep the jewellery to a minimal and in my opinion for the look to be complete without going too overboard; adding a soft smokey eye would definitely do the trick while still keeping the dress as the main focus. There's nothing I love more than creating collages because it's way easier than styling something from my own wardrobe and having to beg people to take pictures for me. I'll definitely be showing you more ways to style the trends for the summer, I'll try to combine both collages and outfits from my personal closet.

Have a great week. x

ADIDAS JACKET

Yesterday I attended one of my friends' art show at the Reykjavík School of Visual Arts. It was a very long day because right after the event the students all gathered at one pub called Boston - It's located on the main shopping street and there we had the patio to ourselves which was great. I had such an amazing time and as I'm writing this post I'm actually exhausted. Seeing as I was going to an Art School, I decided to mix and match different prints and colours for this outfit - and this was the result.

Beginning of birthday month

There's no better way of starting a new month than with my favourite thing to do in the entire world, INDULGING IN GOOD FOOD. Today I want to share little snippets of what I've been up to lately and also which restaurants I've been trying out. As you might have picked up from the title, it's my birthday month and I'm so excited. I'm always excited as I count down the days and when the day finally arrives I just lay on the couch like a potato doing absolutely nothing!

1. You probably already know about my love towards food and posting pretty pictures of it on instagram, but besides eating, I also enjoy cooking very much. I have quite a collection of cook books and magazines, I read online blogs as well. You can find this recipe here.
2. Feeling myself with my current hairdo, apparently I'm now joined the senior squad.
3. Italian Crêpes for lunch.
4. My friend J's birthday dinner at KOL accompanied by a glass of Pinot Noir.

Oh and you can probably tell that I've got myself some frames for my face. I'm absolutely in love with them, they are not prescription glasses, I just love the feel of them plus they have some gold detailing on them. Got them at a flea market and you'll be seeing them much more often on here.

VINTAGE LOVE

HI! You guys have no idea how excited I actually am as I'm writing this post. I literally want to exclaim every single sentence up in here. Anyway, I decided to start my routine with an outfit post. I wore this outfit two weekends ago, I'd recently purchased the two pieces that I'm seen wearing and didn't want them stashed somewhere in my wardrobe without being used, so I gathered the girls over at our place for some wine and talk then we headed downtown. Plus these pieces are second-hand and were a total of $16.00 - I definitely don't hate that. I really liked the outcome of mixing the leather pants with an over-sized blazer.
