Just a lil' bit of inspiration to get your Sunday morning going. Currently I've been loving and looking a lot into home decor blogs, magazines and even boards on Pinterest and I decided why not post a couple of pictures on here in case someone is in need of some decor ideas for their home. For my home (whenever that will be) I will want it to be more modern but with a few antique pieces to break up the modernity of the place.
Wishing you all a great Sunday.xx

Outfit | Earth Toned Colours

H/M
Striped tee, Cardigan - H&M | Shorts - Nostalgía | Earrings - Six | Sneakers - Deichmann

Wore this outfit on  Monday for school. Wanted something that was comfy with some high waist shorts + sneakers and this was my result. I was feeling it although having the sleeves of the stripped tee showing through kind of bothered me a little bit. I tend to neglect some of my clothes but this time on I'm opting to wearing abandoned clothing pieces more often just so I get use out of everything I have because trust me, there are a lot of clothes behind my closet that need some love.

Till next time.x

Spring Trends | Cropped Jacket

Today's spring trend is the cropped jacket. Whether it be a blazer, leather jacket or my current favourite, the bomber jacket. I'd like a floral bomber jacket so I'd be rocking two trends at the same time (the floral and cropped) plus you can style it in so many ways. The cropped jacket above is from Matchefashion.com and I decided to pair it with a baby pink fluffy skirt because it's really pretty and an ideal item and colour for the spring time. Add a basic black tee with some ankle booties and a cute pendant necklace, red nail polish for a pop of colour and you're all set. The jacket can be styled with a dress, maxi/mini dress, boyfriend jeans and even on a night out.

What do you think of this look, is it something you'd see yourself wearing?

New In | Mugler Show & Minajesty

Minajesty - Nicki Minaj | Mugler Show - Thierry Mugler

Happy Easter!
The weekend is already here and I will be spending it working and attending a birthday of one of my good friends so that should be fun. I am excited to dress up as usual and I will make sure to capture a few photographs for the blog. Today I am coming to you with two new fragrances that I recently got. I bought Minajesty at the airport on my way home from Norway and the Mugler Show was gifted to me from my mum when she got back from her trip to Sweden. I was very happy with it and have worn both and there are a few people that have walked up to me and asked what fragrance I was wearing.

Mugler Show by Thierry Mugler: the perfume has a light floral yet crisp scent to it and it is the perfect finishing touch to any outfit on a bright or in my case gloomy spring day. So far I am loving it and it wears well throughout the day. And the bracelet was was a freebie that came along with the bottle.

Minajesty by Nicki Minaj: it has a slightly stronger floral scent to it and so is her other perfume Pink Friday, if you know how that smells then this one is a tad bit more floral. This one also wears well and as the day goes along it does not end up smelling funky like some fragrances I have tried before also a little bit goes a long way so it will last.

Let me know below if you have tried or own any of the two fragrances and how you like them. I highly recommend both fragrances and I am telling you guys, you will not be disappointed.
Have a great weekend.xxx

Spring Trends '14 | Pastels

Time for the second trend for this spring season. The past couple of days our weather has not been very spring-like at all, it has been shifting between rain, snow and sunshine at the same time which can be very confusing and annoying as well since some of us want to be able to stash away the heavy winter coats. I really hope it gets better and have a few days or even months of sunshine instead of rain.

This time I will be talking about pastels and instead of picking out all possible items in the pastel colour palette as I did here. I have opted to make an outfit with all focus on only one item that is pastel and I went with this trench coat from Warehouse and worked my way from there. This is usually the way I plan my daily outfits, by choosing one main clothing item and basing my entire outfit off of that. Of course living here doesn't allow me the chance to wear something like this unless if we are REALLY lucky.
What do you think of this look, you think it needs more accessorising?

Outfit | Broken Strings

H/M
Leather jacket - Vero Moda | Shirt, pants, bag, shoes - H&M

Happy Mondnay loves! I'm currently on my Easter break and don't return to school until the 22nd so there's plenty time for blogging and I'll also start prepping for my finals since they start on the 6th and the last day of class is on the 5th of May.

One might think that this post is sponsored by H&M or something like that, but I promise you it's not. It's just that it's one of my favourite stores that I cannot ever travel abroad without having  to at least look through the window if there isn't time to go into the store; although with me there's always time for H&M. My whole love for H&M began when I used to live in Denmark about 3 years ago, my friends and I would always go to the mall after school and that's when I discovered H&M and ever since, every time I travel we're always inseparable. Their pieces are just so laid-back and timeless and also the prices don't make too much of a damage to my wallet so that's always a plus!

Oh and yesterday was a grand morning since the moment I woke up I happened to find out that H&M will be teaming up with Alexander Wang!!! I'm so freaking excited it's not even funny. I love his creations and those infamous bags and shoes, hope they will provide us with some great long lasting  and hopefully not too pricey pieces.

New In | Nude Wedges

H/M
Wedges - H&M

I've taken the day off because I'm just really not feeling well and would rather stay at home and get myself together because next week I've got a lot of things to do. Anyway this I wanted to show you guys the second pair of shoes that I'd purchased from H&M back in February when I went to Norway - see the other pair here. It's so late for me to be showing you guys this now but better late that never right? Funny thing is that I'd actually seen these wedges in H&M last summer when I went to Milan but walked past them, then this time around I happened to find the very last pair and it was in my size and on top of that it was 2 for 1 so it was unquestionable to walk out of there without these babies. So far I love them and they are so comfortable just like my other black ones that are I'm sure happy to be getting a break now that these are here.

Outfit | Colour Splash

Leather Jacket - Vero Moda | Fuzzy jumper - Gina Tricot | Dress - Zara |  Shoes - Ebay
 Bag, Necklace, Scarf - H&M

Wore this outfit sometime last week when I had lunch with a few friends and I really wanted to wear my pretty dress from Zara and since it was a bit cold outside I thought it would be a great idea to throw on this cosy jumper that I'd shown you guys in my recent 'New In' post. These two colours contrasted well again each other and for a bit of height I added on my also new chunky heeled booties from Ebay. Last but not least I threw on my favourite leather jacket which I seem to be wearing every single day nowadays so be prepared to see it in quite a lot of my upcoming outfit posts. I'm starting to think that I maybe should have bought it in black as well.
I absolutely loved this outfit and it felt so 'me', like does that ever happen to you too?

Spring Trends '14 | Flower Power

Sprind Trends '14 - Flower Power

DIRECT LINKS

It's now back to the school books and only maybe 1 more week of normal classes then it'll be exams time. This semester I'm not taking too many courses whereby I need to take exams to pass so that will save me a lot of energy and sleep and also gives me much more time to prepare for the other classes that require exams. It was fine to have the 3 week break from school but to be honest it was getting a bit boring so I'm glad to get back on the school routine.

Spring's here and for me when I hear/see the words I instantly think of flowers blooming and the overly popular floral trends during this time of the year. To be honest with you though I think the only floral thing I own might be 2 pairs of pants. I like floral and loud prints so if you're like me then you probably already love florals.

Nails | Colourful Flowers

Polishes : O.P.I - Planks Alot, Fly & Lincoln Park After Dark (not pictured) | Revlon - Craving Coral (902) | Dotting tool - Bourjois

Happy Friday guys. I've been at home all day lazying around and I'm now just getting around to studying a little bit because the news about the strike is that school will most likely resume next Monday, to be honest I am quite excited to have something to wake up to every morning because being alone at home and just sleeping is becoming a little bit boring. Hopefully we'll go back to school on Monday so I can get my routine back on track.

After showing you guys my nail art book I decided to create a look from the book and this is the outcome. I love the flowers although they could have been a bit more neat. Nonetheless I love the look. Anyway the books are calling so I'll talk to you guys in my next post.

New In | White Platform Boots

Retro Platform boots - Ebay $18,00

Happy Wednesday lovelies. Hope your weekend has been eventful. Here's a new pair of boots to enlighten your Wednesday mood if you're in any way feeling down. I know shoes always cheer me up so hopefully it does the same for you too. I'd seen these babies on Charlotte's blog and instantly fell in love. Also a while back I'd talked about how I was truly loving the chunky heels trend so I knew it was bound to happen, it was only a matter of time.

2-3 weeks later I received my package and was in awe of how light the shoes were, be careful when ordering though because these are straight from China so the sizes run very small, I normally use size 38 EU but got these in a 39 EU and they just about fit. They also come in black but I opted for white since I already own more than enough pairs of black shoes. I've worn them out and they are very comfortable to walk in and very light on the feet. Currently in the process of breaking them in.
