It's been almost an entire week since the last post.
Last weekend I did nothing but relax and eat a bunch of chocolate which at the end of every bite made me feel guilty; but still I kept on munching. My whole life I've never been one to worry about my weight and watch what I eat 24/7, I haven't stepped on the scale in such a long time. For me I feel like scales and weighing ourselves is just something that in the end bothers us and makes up feel nasty because of those few numbers that the scale shows us; instead what I consider to be healthy being:
- when you aren't sick
- you feel good about yourself
- you have no regrets after eating junk.
Once thing, I find that one way for society to bring down people's confidence being through the whole scale/weight confusion. I ain't 'bout that bullshit.

New In | Black Ankle Booties

These are the shoes that I told ya'll about in my last post.

One day I was at work during the annual post-Christmas sales (clearance for new stoke), everything was discounted up to 70%; which is crazy! At the end of the day one of my co-workers came to me and was purchasing this one pretty pair of  booties, they were a suede material. Their price before was like 16.000kr (equivalent to $125 ) and they were reduced to something around 4.500kr (equivalent to $35 ). I found it to be such an amazing deal and so before closing time I headed over to the shoe section and rammaged ato see if anything was worth finding and to my luck I found something... these babies! Head down to the bottom to see which price I purchased them for.
Are you ready to be shocked...
They were originally 12.000kr ($93) and got reduced down to 6.000kr ($46) and then went down 50% = 3.000kr ($23), on top of that since I'm a  member of staff I got 15% off which made the final price = 2.550kr ($20). I was so happy when I got them, also the quality isn't that bad I think. Though I've still got to use them (might do so this weekend).

I'm done ranting about these shoes and now I'll return to my beloved books.
xoxo

New In | Necessities

Good morning loves, today I'm coming to you with a short haul from the beginning of the month. It's just a few necessities that I needed (and an amazing deal that I couldn't watch pass me by). I'm almost running out of my L'oreal daily moisturizer so I went ahead and purchased my all time favourite one by Clean&Clear; which was actually suggested to me by one of my lovely friends. I might do a review on it, let me know below if you'd be in any way interested to see that.

I will be writing a separate post regarding the shoes and how I came to buying them. Then I will tell you about the amazing deal that I mentioned above.

stay tuned!xx

Nails | Purple Cheetah Print

Note: *I took the pictures about 2 weeks after I had done the nail art, I removed it right after the photo taking*

About two weeks ago I had some free time on my hands and I used it to paint my nails some funky nail art which turned out okay, maybe not great but afar, it looked bomb!
I got a lot of compliments and a few ' how do you do it' and 'how long does it take' kind of questions.
I saw this design on Pinterest and decided to go for it, the outcome was much prettier than I expected it to be since I haven't been doing anything special to my nails recently.
Hope you liked this quick post.

Happy post-valentine's day folks.
Hope you had a great Valentine's day. I've never celebrated it since I've never been in a relationship during that time (what a bummer) but this year I have my special someone. I kind of find it to be a bit stupid considering this is that "special day" for you and your loved one to showcase your love towards one another, instead of having this one fake day which I presume business people use only to gain some mula. Why not just show your love every single day?

Yesterday all I did was lay in bed reading blogs, books and preparing for tests. Working weekend ahead so I've got to finish some school work tonight.

This is an outfit from the past week, I didn't get a chance to post it sooner.

Beauty | January Faves

Just wanted to show you guys my January favourites. They are mostly beauty items as you might have noticed.
From left:  Clean&Clear blackhead cleansing daily scrub | Atrix hand cream | L'oreal triple active daily moisturizer | Bobbi Brown foundation stick in #8 - Walnut | Rimmel's Scandal eyes mascara | Smashbox's Infrared matte lipstick | Kylie Minogue fragrance - Showtime | Elf eyeshadow kit | Mac studio finish concealer in NW50 | Maybelline liquid eyeliner | Artdeco brow pencil #2 | Lindex hoop earrings | Casio watch
You can't possibly understand how much I love this lip stick, it gives me such a classic look and really boosts my confidence. I always end up feeling like a million bucks when I have this baby on.

This morning I woke up feeling sick, but still I got myself to school, though during the first period I just wasn't feeling myself. I felt sicker than earlier and so I was debating whether or not to go home (which would make me miss math revision before the test tomorrow). In the end going home was the best option for me and so I went ahead and headed for home. Once I got home I hit the sack and woke up 2 hours later feeling a little better than before and to my luck I happened to receive a text from one of my class mates letting me know that the test has been postponed till Monday which made me happier, more sleep for me tonight instead of studying!

Now I'll go ahead and work on some of my never-ending school work while it's still sunny outside (hope I don't fall asleep!)

It's been quite a while since I last posted on here, I've been having tests like crazy the past week and I've also been handing in a lot of assignments which made it impossible to actually sit down a write a blog post. The clock's almost hitting 11 PM so I best get myself into bed  because I didn't sleep til 3 AM last night due to an unfinished essay. This week I've got 2 tests, Math and Economics so tomorrow will be spent studying and watching the Manchester United - Real  Madrid game with the boyfriend.

Til next time! xx

 Earrings - Gifted | Casio | Bag - Zara

The past days as you may already know have been filled with loads of work and occasional studying for me.
Thursday through Sunday I was working. On Saturday after work I attend one of my colleague's 19th birthday which was so much fun, I din't want to leave the place. I took a half bottle of red wine with me (I know, I'm a weirdo) which I ended up gulping all by myself and at the end of the night I couldn't handle any more so I decided to go home and get some rest because the next day I had to show up for work.

This is an outfit I wore that very night, I opted for a bright red blazer and basic black pants with my most comfortable summer wedges to add a bit of colour to the outfit. Although the moment I was about to step outside, it started to snow so I instead opted for more warm shoes and thus went with the beige booties that you can see in the last picture. To top it off I styled my hair in my beloved high bun (which I wear like every single day!). I really liked the outcome and I receive quite a few compliments here and there.

See you in my next post! xoxo

Hello my gorgeous ladies, hope you're all well.
Happy Saturday. I've got a somewhat of a busy schedule today as in about 40 minutes I will be heading to work, afterwards I will be attending a birthday party of one of my work colleagues. After that maybe we might hit town... not sure yet because I've got work again tomorrow.

My whole body is currently sore, yesterday was the first time that I went to the gym since last November. You can see how long ago that was. I can't cough or move my buttocks without feeling pain, even though I'm sore in unmentionable most places it was a very good workout and I can't wait to go to the gym again.

Oh, and I took these photos all by myself with my trusty tripod, do you like them, is there something that I could include to make them better? I'm considering purchasing a remote so the process can be easier.
 Coat | Striped Top, Scarf, Beanie - H&M | Bottoms - Hagkaup | Necklace - Gifted | Shoes - Thrifted

This outfit was worn on this past week, I really like the mixture of colours and prints, and the fact that there was pink in the pants and the coat as well. I adore the pattern of the coat and I've been wearing it so much, adding to that it has a fur collar attached. What's not to love?
