Happy Sunday lovelies! I just came from the gym and I thought why not share 10 of my current favourite songs to workout to. For me I cannot be at the gym listening to Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga's duets, I need something loud and that pushes me and gets  my adrenaline pumping. I tend to listen to Eminem a lot and Techno music as well as 'twerk' songs. Those are the types of songs I find myself gravitating towards when I'm doing my daily workout. If you go to the gym, which kind of music do you prefer listening to and do you listen to any of the songs above?

Pharrell Williams Happy - We Are Happy: Bloggers Edition

Happy Monday loves! Hope your weekend was eventful, I just got done with a  12 hour shift at my new work place for the summer, I'm now working from the international airport which is exciting. It's a pretty tough job but so worth it and very fulfilling. I'll be there the rest of the summer and then it's back to school in August.

Anyway earlier this month I got asked by the lovely Diane of  http://dee-vineanonyme.com/ to be part of her take on the 'Happy' song by Pharell Williams, she decided to make a bloggers version of the song and it was so much fun recording this, I regret not making it longer though...
It was such a great experience for me and more lovely to see all the familiar faces in the video, I felt as if I knew them in real life. Thanks Dee for putting this together and making it happen, hope you guys like the video and it brights a smile to your face and don't forget to check out Diane's blog and the rest of the bloggers' blogs that took part in this awesome project. xo

Music | 23

Hey ho!
my autumn/winter break has begun and I'm just chilling in bed listening to music and planning out some posts for the upcoming week. It feels so good just cuddling in my bed with a vanilla candle burning and making it feel like it's Christmas up in here.

23 (Explicit)

I don't know what's got into me lately but I've be overly obsessed with Miley. From her music to her style. After seeing her scandalous performance at the VMA's I was somewhat disgusted and just thought she had changed so much from her Hannah Montana days but then I came to the realisation that she's a 20 year old WOMAN which makes her an adult and she can do whatever she prefers with her life and career. I don't like her latest song Wrecking Ball because I find it to be too sad lol, although I really like We Can't Stop and this particular song 23, with Juicy J, Mike Will Made-it and Wiz. I've been listening to it constantly and I even became more obsessed with it after last weekend's shenanigans. I like how fun the video is even though it's a little too revealing hah.
If you haven't heard it before then click on the video and give it a goal cause it's a pretty good song to twerk to :)

Tinie Tempah
Nicky Romero

Here's the final post from my Keflavík Music Festival experience. It was a good weekend even though there were some things that went wrong like Iggy Azalea cancelled her appearance and we weren't notified until like 1 hour before she was supposed to appear on stage. It was quite a bummer but I kept onto my positivity and enjoyed myself still. Tinie Tempah was amazing and he performed all of the songs that I love and the fact that he opened the show with the song 'Frisky' just set everything off for me. It's my all time favourite song of his. After Tinie had performed, Nicky Romero took the stage and gave us even more life. His music is so good, somewhere during him whisking those records, it felt like I was in Ibiza having the time of my life. It was a very good experience and I can't wait till next year. Also Chase and Status came too,  they were really good, their music was a definite banger!

Now I'm gone to work on my math assignment due today but I have only worked on 3 problems. Procrastination is a killer.

The Venue getting all filled up with people

Hello blogosphere. It's been a whole week since my last post. I'm still alive, as some of you might know through Instagram as I always post there even though I might not be able to post on here, Instagram is always updated at least every couple of days. These two past weekends have been crazy for me, school work, travelled to Akureyri (up north) the first weekend in June and this past weekend I attended Keflavík Music Festival. Akureyri was very much fun, we stayed at my mother-in-law's and we went River Rafting (it was my very first time ever and it was so much fun!). Keflavík Music Festival was a lot of fun although I missed out on the first day which was Thursday since I had to work til 8 PM and I had no ride to Keflavík so I just decided to stay at home and work on my math instead, it was a very sad time as I had missed out on seeing one of my favourite groups, Rudimental :(

Then on Friday right after summer school, my mum drove me to Keflavík which is about 40 minutes away. I got there, prepared and headed down town where all the fun was happening. My friend and I got there a little late but we went straight to where our other group of friends was, front row and we stayed there. Far  East Movement were really good, I loved what they were wearing and damn, Dev was so sexy in that dress and the beanie she had one was so LA style-ish. I just loved everything about their performance and it was an amazing experience to finally get the chance of seeing them live.

June has definitely made me feel more that summer's here due to all the fun that I've been having recently. I still have more on my plate to come. Next post will be about days 2 (Saturday).

Fashion | Grammy Awards 2012 - Best Dressed

Hi beauties, hope you're all doing well.
As most of you know the Grammy Awards were held this past weekend at the Staples Center in LA. I was up till 4.AM because I didn't want to miss out on anything and I had a notebook and pen with me to jot down which outfits I thought were the best of that evening. And now I have decided to show you the pictures of the ones that I thought were best dressed this year.
Mind  you they are not in any particular order
Kim Kardashian: the woman looked so beautiful in this Antonio Berardi gown, it showed off her body shape so well. There has been a lot of controversy going on about how she was disrespectful that night by wearing such a 'showy' dress as it was the same night that Whitney Houston passed away. I don't think it's disrespectful at all, I mean she had already chosen the dress and I'm sure she took weeks to find the perfect dress for the event and it wouldn't make any sense to put it down because of someone's death. ( I know I sound like a totally cold person, but put yourself in her situation. What would you have done?). Overall she looked amazing.
Gwyneth Paltrow: looked fabulous in Stella McCartney , she looked very classy and pulled back the hair so the focus would mainly be on the dress, she added a gold belt and is wearing a  Delfina Delettrez ring.
Kate Beckinsale: the British babe rocked a crème mini dress by Zuhair Murad, wtih chiffon draping and a black velvet bow tie at the shoulder. She finished up the look with some Ferragamo pumps and Sutra jewelry.
Adele: she looked so classy in this Giorgio Armani boatneck gown with three-quarter sleeves. She wore some glittering stilettos and jewelry by Harry Winston.
Alicia Keys: I can't even begin to describe how beautiful she looked, LOVE the dress by Alexandre Vauthien, from the shoulder pads to the necklace which is by the way GORGEOUS to the Christian Loubotin shoes and certainly not forgetting the Hair, I fancy the whole 'mohawk thing' going on here. The dressed was so fit and showed off her beautiful figure and having her  man by her side just completes the whole look don't ya think? The contrast between the outfits, none is outshining the other... all just perfect!

Amber Rose:  I love her and Wiz, I think they look cute together but I have no idea why he is dressed like that. That is so not like him at all - mistakes people make while trying to be 'fashionable and get out of their comfort zone' a little too quick. Amber's wearing Versace and I think the colour looks really pretty against her skin tone. I could see myself  rocking the Versaceeeeeee.

Fergie: most articles that I have read the past couple of days chose her as one of the worst dressed of this year, I completely disagree. My thoughts are she looked ravishing in this Haute couture gown by Jean Paul Gaultier and jewels by Neil Lane, she wore Walter Steiger pumps and a Judith Leiber clutch and on top of that she brought her mother as her date, how sweet!

Jesse J: looked stunning in a Julien McDonald dress. Her hair is OK, I'm not really a huge fan of the fringe but my main focus was on the dress. Overall I was very surprised to see her in this disco'ed out dress and I was expecting more of a crazy-mania outfit like the GAGA and the Minaj. Instead she looked very elegant.
Rihanna: all eyes were on heR Sunday night, she looked ravishingly exotic in the supersexy yet somewhat understated dress which was a collaboration between her and Giorgio Armani. I read somewhere that she was going for a 'sexy yet gangster' look (correct me if im wrong) I think she totally hit that line perfectly.
Kelly Rowland: looked amazeballsin this peachy Alberta Ferretti gown with embellished top paired with a formfitting skirt. Overall she looked amazing and there's nothing more to say.

As you may have noticed, mixing black and gold is so in right now. I love the combination and especially if it's wearing something very simple and basic then jazzing it up with some funky gold jewels.

Hope you enjoyed the post and happy weekend to me,  I have no school tommorow (actually it's already Friday so yeah...)

So tell me, WHO DO YOU THINK WAS THE BEST DRESSED THIS YEAR?
