Happy Hour

Happy Saturday loves, today I'm sharing an outfit I wore not too long ago when my friend and I met up for an impromptu happy hour outing - we was thuuuuursty! As always, I wanted to feel comfortable and so I opted for a latest edition in my wardrobe which is the H&M side slit top, the material's so comfortable and I've used it a couple of times when travelling, I then added my Ebay bargain to add more colour and warmth yet not feeling too hot. I've shown you the jacket before and you can find that post here.

ADIDAS JACKET

Yesterday I attended one of my friends' art show at the Reykjavík School of Visual Arts. It was a very long day because right after the event the students all gathered at one pub called Boston - It's located on the main shopping street and there we had the patio to ourselves which was great. I had such an amazing time and as I'm writing this post I'm actually exhausted. Seeing as I was going to an Art School, I decided to mix and match different prints and colours for this outfit - and this was the result.

How I run errands

I'm officially off work the next 5 days! I'm excited to relax at home and recharge my batteries as well as spend some time with my dear mum. I also have to run a few errands during my free time, and hopefully if the weather allows then maybe they'll be an outfit or two on here next week. But for now, here's an outfit from when I was running some errands last week. I got the long checkered vest off of Ebay and was styling it for the 2nd time. Mum begged me to take the ''extra hanging material off of me''; because apparently it ruined the outfit, but I actually like how it turned out and went about my day.

Saturday Night

Crop top - Missguided // Bottoms - Zara // Leather jacket - Vero Moda // Bag - Primark // Platforms - Ebay
Good evening, just wanted to pop by to say 'hi' and share this outfit with you that I wore last weekend for one of my girlfriends's birthday. When I was preparing I wanted to wear a skirt and an hour or so later after completing my makeup application, I looked outside and saw it has started snowing and at that moment the skirt option went straight out the window. Instead, I decided to wear these ripped and VERY comfy high-waist pants from Zara. They are all I've been wearing and I'm thinking about going back to get them in more colours. This was a perfect quick-change outfit that you can easily transform with either shoes or top; even as simple as a jacket/blazer.

I'm currently at home sick, I have no energy, it's literally a freezing winter wonderland outside and this is all happening on my days off from work which from the looks of it will most likely be spent in bed binge watching The Godfather... I'm finally manning up and I'm about half-way done with the first sequel.

How Would You Wear | All-White Anniversary

Coat - Blend // Jumper - Sheinside // Jeans - Zara // Necklace - Topshop // Bag - H&M // Boots - Ebay
Hi guys, so today we're celebrating Diane's brilliant idea of the HWYW segment where each month a couple of bloggers together vote on a trend that we would like to style for that month. To celebrate this month we decided to go with the All-White theme; and if I'm not mistaken it was also our first ever trend when this challenge started. I opted for this Zara jeans once again, also added  my fuzzy jumper from Sheinside since it was quite chilly that day, topped off the look with a grey/black coat and a cobalt blue necklace for a bit of colour. And this look wouldn't be complete without a beanie :)

Make sure to also visit the other ladies' blogs who participated this month, I'll be updating the post once everyone shares their posts and pictures. x

Secret Solstice | Day 1 - Kelis & Gus Gus

"... Secret Solstice is the only festival where you can party at a time when the sun doesn't set for three entire days."

Happy July loves. It's strange to think that we're already in the 7th month of the year 2015. So far my year has been really good, I've been keeping the positive vibes going and all in all I feel great. I feel like I have grown as an individual and looking forward to the coming months. The weekend of 19th - 21st June was the Secret Solstice Midnight Music Festival and I attended all the 3 days seeing as it was the first time I was attending, and because of that you know I had to go all out with my OOTD's and make up; or at least I tried. I'm already planning next year's outfits, that's how much I enjoyed myself. If you're curious about how day 1 went then

How To Style a Fuzzy Jumper 3 Ways

Today's post is dedicated to this cosy Sheinside jumper that you might have already seen - here and here. I challenged myself to style the jumper in 3 different ways and I'm quite happy with the end results. It was fun putting together the outfits and even more fun to take the pictures. Keep on reading to see the other two options and let me know which one is your personal favourite.

Hope everyone's well. I spent the past week mostly at home sick, eating a lot and exercising very little and watching a lot of documentaries; especially VICE and National Geography ones. I like learning even though I'm on summer break but this is a more fun way to do it and I'm all for that.
Lately there hasn't been much time nor inspiration for outfit picture taking and all that comes with it so for today's post you guys get to see some of my favourite outfits from the past couple of months. It's no surprise that this goddamn Vero Moda/Only leather jacket is in almost all of the outfit pics, but I cannot help my love for it. Goes with EVERYTHING plus it's a great item to add warmth for our unpredictable weather. Today I'm free from work so I should be seeing some friends and I plan on dressing up just because I can.

Tags | Closet Confidential

Happy Friday, a while back I'd been tagged by the lovely Tasha of TashPantz to do the Closet Confidential tag, make sure to check out her blog. Finally I had time to sit down, go through the questions and take a few pictures. Here are my answers and I hope you enjoy. xo

1. What is the oldest item in your closet/wardrobe?

I count this to be my oldest item I own because I've obviously stopped using all the other older stuff and it's one of the first items that got me into fashion/blogging. I still use it till this day; although not as often as I would want. It's from Dorothy Perkins.

Doing the songster signature pose.
Jacket - Vero Moda | Plaid shirt - Spúútník | 30STM tee - Merch store | Shorts - Nostalgía
 Beanie - Gyllti Kötturinn | Bag - Zara | Shoes - Ebay

Another outfit featuring my favourite and probably the most expensive piece as well, this leather jacket is making yet one more appearance on the blog. I'm unlike many bloggers that only wear many of their clothes only once, well I'm not so rich to be able to do that so being repetitive is the only way to go :). So when I find something I love I will wear it as much as possible although I also will be careful so it doesn't get spoiled or something. This jacket's been my favourite for very long now and I don't regret buying at all. It's a great staple and it's different from the usual black leather jackets. I loved wearing this outfit and it felt very 'me' like and on top of that it was very comfortable for a day out with friends.
I wish you all a great rest of the week and to those that have exams coming up like myself, good luck and stay hydrated!

Outfit | Colour Splash

Leather Jacket - Vero Moda | Fuzzy jumper - Gina Tricot | Dress - Zara |  Shoes - Ebay
 Bag, Necklace, Scarf - H&M

Wore this outfit sometime last week when I had lunch with a few friends and I really wanted to wear my pretty dress from Zara and since it was a bit cold outside I thought it would be a great idea to throw on this cosy jumper that I'd shown you guys in my recent 'New In' post. These two colours contrasted well again each other and for a bit of height I added on my also new chunky heeled booties from Ebay. Last but not least I threw on my favourite leather jacket which I seem to be wearing every single day nowadays so be prepared to see it in quite a lot of my upcoming outfit posts. I'm starting to think that I maybe should have bought it in black as well.
I absolutely loved this outfit and it felt so 'me', like does that ever happen to you too?

New In | White Platform Boots

Retro Platform boots - Ebay $18,00

Happy Wednesday lovelies. Hope your weekend has been eventful. Here's a new pair of boots to enlighten your Wednesday mood if you're in any way feeling down. I know shoes always cheer me up so hopefully it does the same for you too. I'd seen these babies on Charlotte's blog and instantly fell in love. Also a while back I'd talked about how I was truly loving the chunky heels trend so I knew it was bound to happen, it was only a matter of time.

2-3 weeks later I received my package and was in awe of how light the shoes were, be careful when ordering though because these are straight from China so the sizes run very small, I normally use size 38 EU but got these in a 39 EU and they just about fit. They also come in black but I opted for white since I already own more than enough pairs of black shoes. I've worn them out and they are very comfortable to walk in and very light on the feet. Currently in the process of breaking them in.

Outfit | Blogger Style Swap w/ Diane

 Shirt - H&M | Skirt - Vero Moda | Tights - Hagkaup | Shoes - Ebay

Hello guys! So today I have a different and very exciting post for you all featuring Diane of Dee Vine Anonyme. She's been a reader of my blog all the way from the very beginning and it's always  a pleasure reading her blog. Also I feel like I know her even though we've never met a day in my life. Hopefully it'll happen in the future because I think she's a cool person to hang out and go shopping with. It's also amazing how much her blog's grown and evolved so much, very inspiring. If you lack inspiration for outfits then I highly suggest you check out her blog; you won't be disappointed.

So as I was saying, I'm taking part in a segment of hers' titled 'blogger style swap' where her and another fellow blogger choose an outfit of the other person's and remake it. You could choose to have it the same exact or just similar colours and/or textures and items or switch it up a little bit. I chose her outfit above because it's something I'd totally see myself wear and a also I wanted to use my new shirt. I didn't find any shirt similar to the one she's wearing so I just went with this polka dotted one and my current favourite booties from Ebay, will be talking about them in my next post so stay tuned. I really liked the way the whole look turned out.

Outfit | The Gold & Black Jumper

Fur Vest - Topshop | Jumper - Gyllti Kötturinn | Skirt - Dótturfélagið | Booties - Thrifted | Beanie - Ebay

It's been a minute since I last posted on here. It all started one Saturday morning when I woke up late for work, headed to the coffee house for a  large dark coffee to wake me up and get me ready for the day ahead, can you guess what happens next? I end up tripping on slippery floor and breaking my computer screen in the way and that's why I haven't been blogging for the rest of February, I felt vulnerable without my computer, like I couldn't do ANYTHING, everything was on there and there was no way of me accesssing all the photos I'd already taken and were being edited for the blog.

A while after that I went to Norway where I was visiting my friend for a couple of days and also attended a 30 Seconds to Mars concert since they are one of my many favourite bands out there. The show was amaze-balls and I'll most definitely be seeing them again in the future. What is it with those three, like seriously each and one of them is freakishly gorgeous in their own way. Ahhhh.

Now I'm back home and bloggin through my momma's computer but it's not the same as when done on mine, I feel like something's missing lol. Anyway I will also maybe do a haul about the things I bought while abroad and more outfits to come since the weather seems promising these days.
Wanted to show you guys these pictures of me wearing one of my recent purchases, it's so comfy and I like the colours. Just wore it with a skirt since I was after comfort. I hope you have a great week ahead and I'll see you in my next post.

New In | Personalised Beanie

Somewhere between November and December I'd bought myself another beanie for the winter time and I found this one on Ebay, decided to have my first name on it and then 'Ivy' which is a name I've been using for my social media stuff for the past years so I thought  why not as some people already call me by it. I also gave one of my best friends a same one for Christmas and she LOVED it. I'll definitely be ordering some more. The beanie's one size and fits perfectly on me and it's really warm and thick; the only down side to it is that I wish the letters were a little bit thicker so they'd be more noticeable. Other than that I've been wearing this beanie ever since and there's an outfit post coming soon featuring this bad boy.
Happy Friday guys!
