"... Secret Solstice is the only festival where you can party at a time when the sun doesn't set for three entire days."

Happy July loves. It's strange to think that we're already in the 7th month of the year 2015. So far my year has been really good, I've been keeping the positive vibes going and all in all I feel great. I feel like I have grown as an individual and looking forward to the coming months. The weekend of 19th - 21st June was the Secret Solstice Midnight Music Festival and I attended all the 3 days seeing as it was the first time I was attending, and because of that you know I had to go all out with my OOTD's and make up; or at least I tried. I'm already planning next year's outfits, that's how much I enjoyed myself. If you're curious about how day 1 went then

GUSGUS

GusGus is an Icelandic electronic music band founded in 1995 in very grounds of Reykjavík. The band 's music is very eclectic and they've experimented with numerous styles such as techno, trip hop and house. They've also worked with many Icelandic artists whereby some used to be a part of the group but have ventured on to pursue their solo careers, artists they've worked with include the famous Björk as well as Emilíana Torrini, whose song was featured in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. If you have never heard of this band then I highly suggest you do, promise you won't regret it.
KELIS
Kelis also was a featured guest at the Festival this year, of course everyone lost it when the song "Milkshake" came on. She put up a great show, but seeing as she's now older the show wasn't too crazy as in her early days. All in all she really got the festival going and she brought her baby boy on stage, the young fella sure knows how to turn up lol.

There were 6 stages in total with Valhalla being the main one and Hel (Hell) was where the afterparty/dance craze went off. You could hear the music from km's away and some people in the neighbourhood complained that the music was too loud. The party at Hel always started from 01:00 AM or 02:00 AM till dawn. Everyday we got home at around 06:00 AM and then we'd continue the party starting 12:00 PM after only about 4-6 hours of sleep. It was madddd!
