Happy Sunday loves!
Yesterday I was a home sick but today I'm feeling a little bit better so I'll be off to work in a bit and later tonight I've got a huge test to study for which is tomorrow so wish me luck and hopefully I'll have the strength to study all night. At first I wasn't going to publish this outfit as it isn't too appealing to me. It was raining and gloomy that day so it was impossible to take the pictures outdoors and thus I took them in my room, but due to not having found that perfect 'spot' yet and outside being so dark it was hard to take some good quality pictures. But because I wanted to show this over sized jumper of mine from SH. You might have already seen it in my last 'new in' post.
Nothing much more, I hope you have a lovely Sunday.

If you follow me on instagram then you might have already seen this picture of a nail design that I did a week ago. Decided to share it on here too as it's been too long since the last post having to do with nails. Thinking of  doing these at least once a week or so since I really love doing my nails and have so many great colours and brands I could share with you guys. Expect more in the future.

A/W 2013 Trends | Tartan

Tartan
Follow me on Polyvore

Good morning lovelies.
So last Sunday was the first day of autumn. Man this year's going by so fast it feels and seems as if I haven't accomplished any of my resolutions; except for the travelling part. This weeks trend is the ever so eye-catching tartan or as some might call it plaid. There are so many cool items out there with this print, spotted quite a bunch in Zara and Topshop so if  you're interested I suggest you check in these tho stores.

For the tartan I didn't want to use an item too overpowering but instead opted for something that could make a statement without taking away too much from the cute lace-y dress and ankle booties so that's why I went with this rad Vivienne Westwood rucksack. It's the perfect size and shape for a simple touch to the outfit. Of course this bag will cost you a fortune so for all my fellow college goers and bargainers you could check out your local thrift store for some good deals.
Went with a berry colour for lips and you can never go wrong with a beanie.

New In | Swarovski Goodies

Bracelet x Blinged out pen - SWAROVSKI

Good morning, everyone.
Hope you're having an awesome week-end. All I did was pretty much relaxing at home watching the Kardashians and some other 'reality TV shows'. I'm a sucker for anything with drama, right now I'm still anxiously waiting for the final episode of Dexter and for season 6 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta to air. Anyway a couple of weeks back I had won a giveaway on Ms. Trudy's blog and I just recently got the goodies and decided to show you guys. I received this really pretty blinged out pen and bracelet by Swarovski. I love the bling and I've always admired the prettiness of anything Swarovski.
I love the stuff I got and so Thank you Trudy!
And if you guys don't already know about her blog, then I suggest that you click on the link below and head over there and show her some love. She's a very nice person and sweet and definitely has some killer style. Promise you won't regret it.

Happy Friday loves.
I'm excited for the weekend because I'll be attending a couple of parties which should be a lot of fun. This week went by quite fast in my opinion which means that we're one week closer to the Christmas exams and finals. Nothing much entertaining happened this week really; although I did happen to do a little bit of shopping and you'll probably be seeing that stuff in a couple of days  from now. Wore this outfit a couple of days ago and I loved it, the skirt is so comfortable and these chelsea boots have been my all time faves since my mother walked into my bedroom with them. They are great for autumn/winter and they are basically what I happen to live in during those times.

Have a safe weekend.

Outfit | Ljósanótt 2013

Hola!
Hope everyone's had a good weekend. My weekend was okay nothing fancy happened; was just working and doing school work as per usual. This morning I woke up really early so I wouldn't be late for class because last week I showed up late to almost 90% of all my classes so this week I'm definitely going to change that. Because of that early rise this morning I somehow became extremely hyper all day long and was feeling myself and my outfit and just everything around me made me happy. I don't know what the heck is going on here but it felt good, now I'm back to the ol' grumpy only want to be alone in my room watching Two and a Half Men self. In just a couple of days I've managed to finish series 6 & 7 of Two and a Half Men which is really bad considering all the amount of school work needed to be done.

On to the outfit; two weeks ago there was a festival called Ljósanótt (Night of Lights) in a town called Keflavík. It was my first time attending and on Saturday the girls and I went to a Paul Oscar (Páll Óskar) ball which was loads of fun, he's just such an amazing and fun person with a lot of energy. He entertained us from 12:00 AM until somewhere around 05:00 AM. I reunited with quite a lot of my friends since I used to live in Keflavík before moving back to Reykjavík. But now I'm back again living in Keflavík. It's complicated. I hope you liked my outfit, as you've maybe noticed there hasn't been much about #ootd posting on here since the weather just isn't allowing me to at this very moment. The wind  we're experiencing right now can definitely take one's life, in the North and East it has already started to snow so you can only imagine what it's like trying to make your tripod stand still in 20m/s kind of wind... that for sure isn't going to end well.

See you in my next post and who's been keeping up with London Fashion Week?

New In | Silvian Heach Jumper & Other Accessories

Jumper - Silvian Heach | Nail polishes - Yamayay | Gold chain - Claire's

Haven't done one of these in a while so here it is.
Showcasing just a few pieces of what I purchased while in Italy this summer. Bought the jumper as a last minute sort of thing while waiting at the airport, it's quite baggy (maybe a little too baggy), nonetheless I still love it. I really like the design on it plus I got it for a really good price. It was 70% off so there was absolutely no way I was going to walk out of that store without the jumper. It's now happily chilling in my wardrobe with my other colder weather attire.
The Yamayay nail polishes were also a last minute purchase at the airport in Milan on my way to Sicily via Rome. The Essie polish and gold chain were purchased in France.
That's it, see you in my next post.

A/W 2013 Trends | Fur glam + Over the knee boots

Fur

A/W 2013 #1

New York Fashion Week has been running strong since the 5th of September, some of the biggest names have already showcased their Spring/Summer 2014 collections and some are yet to bring their collections to the table. So far my favourites have to be Alexander Wang, DVF, Tadashi Shoji and Tommy Hilfiger just to name a few. I love keeping up with what's happening in the fashion world especially during fashion weeks because there is always so much happening inspiration is all over, from the catwalks to the street style outside fashion shows. Just so much happening and it's fun to watch from my computer screen and my instagram feed wishing I could be there. Everyone has their own little dreams right...

This outfit was inspired by what is considered to be "in" for this A/W season and I decided to combine just a few bits of those trends into one outfit. As most of you know, army green is the "it" colour of the season along with big furry coats/jackets. As I ran along some pictures from the catwalks, their looks were as usual a bit too 'out there' for us casual people thus I adjusted the whole look into a more everyday appropriate one that anyone can wear.
What do you think of this look, let me know below.

Hi. How was everyone's weekend? Mine was great, I really enjoyed myself after a long time of not going out on the night. Got an outfit post of that outfit coming soon so stay tuned for that. Today I wanted to share some of my favourite fashion bloggers; they are quite well known in the blogging world and they have truly inspired me so much into finding out my personal style and also just admiring their lives of always flying from one continent to another. I hope to do the same one day.

Italian Getaway | Dinner at Sunset

don't mind my messy hair, i'd just stepped out of the shower.
Earrings, Neon bag, shirt - H&M | Shorts - Nostalgía | Sandals - New Yorker | Watch - Casio

Having been to Italy before, that time I was in Florence and my parents and I always used to go out for dinner each night and everything seemed in the norm. But then this time around while in Sicily, we were always the first people to show up at restaurants because people there eat their dinner around 11pm which was very surprising. Anyway wore this outfit after a long fay at the beach. I wouldn't call it dressy but it's somewhat not to casual either; although you could easily transform it to a dressy by adding a cute pair of wedges.
There aren't too many outfits from my trip as I lived in my bikini pretty much most of the time and also it was just too hot for blog-worthy clothes thus there won't be anymore outfit posts from the  trip. But I've got loads of photographs of churches and you name it so those you should expect to see in the next few weeks.

Italian Getaway | Spiaggia di Balestrate

H/M
Playsuit - Primark | Belt - H&M | Bag - Thrifted | Sneakers - H&M

Hello you wild thangs.
Hope so far you're all having an eventful week. Mine's been filled with a lot of studies and episodes to Two and a half men to refresh the brain. Here's my second outfit from my holiday. This day we did a lot of cycling around the the town of Trapetto where we were staying. It's beautiful around sunset. Our little bike ride led us to the next town which is Balestrate and when we found a beach we just decided to spend the rest of our afternoon there soaking up some sun and due to that I'm now suffering from dryness and my body's like a snake's. Not a good scenery at all.
There's definitely more to come so stay tuned.
