Fashion | American Music Awards '13

Hey hey, so the American Music Awards were last Sunday and I'm sure many of you fashionistas were watching to scoop the latest fashion on the red carpet. Myself I was too lazy to get out of bed and turn on the TV plus it was also very late and I had class early in the morning the very next day... but Instagram did sure keep me updated with everything, -fashion wise. This year I expected the starts to go all out with their outfits but actually they were most all toned down and very classy so it was a good change and also to see many of them fully dressed and not showing every aspect of their body to the whole world.
Below are my favourite looks from the awards, have a look at let me know in the comments which ones were your favourites.

Nicole Richie: was spotted rocking an Emilio Pucci dress which looked gorgeous on her figure, with that she added some Casadei shoes and a House of Harlow 1960 clutch. She also rocked a vintage Gucci ring and YSL earrings and necklace. Although I'm not too sure about those hip bones popping out, maybe if it had been closed on the frontal part then it'd have probably been even more sexier.

Naya Rivera: one of my many women crushes, she weeerked this long sleeved, floor length Michael Kors gown like no other. She showed just the right amount of cleavage and the open back was very sexy too. I loved the way she accessorised with gold jewellery. She definitely got people talking when stepping on and away from the red carpet!
Emma Roberts: wearing a Lanvin gown, Casadei shoes and a RODO clutch. I like her dress and I don't think it's too bad for her petite figure. Also the pop of pink from the clutch and shoes added a bit of colour to the all silver outfit.

Kendall Jenner: looked very chic in this Keepsake top and skirt, Manolo Blahnik shoes and a Dylanex necklace. With her figure I feel this outfit was perfect for her and adding that chunky statement necklace was the way to go for a bit of glam.

Kylie Jenner: the younger sister was spotting a Maiyet top, Giambatista Valli pants and some Barbara Bui shoes. Her outfit wasn't at the very top of my list but nonetheless she looked good and the thing that attracted me to her whole look was the bangs, I think they suit her pretty well.
Jordin Sparks: Jason Derulo's lady was rocking this gorgeous gold studded Jovani Couture dress with some Schutz shoes and jewellery by Pink Accessories. The was no way for me to not like this outfit, anything gold and studded I always love; so combining these two things together was pure love at first sight. I also adore the minimal make up and simple pony tail so that the focus was on this gorgeous dress.

Rihanna: Riri sure does loves her some Jean Paul Gaultier, A$AP ROCKY even mentions it in his song 'fashion killa'. When Rihanna stepped on the red carpet everyone went bonkers talking about how her hair looked like she was going to bed and whatever. I, on the other hand was busy admiring her outfit. It's so out there and we're getting a glimpse of some of her many tattoos. I absolutely loved the bra top!

Lady Gaga: this year I expected Mother Monster to go utterly crazy with her outfit but instead she came one looking very classy with her long locks in this fab Versace gown. I was in awe. But since the outfit wasn't too crazy, of course she had to find another way to make a scene and that was by coming on a human made pony. Way to go Gaga.
Christina Aguilera: looked somewhat elegant in this Maria Lucia Hohan dress with some Christian Louboutin shoes this year. I love her loose curls and this hairstyle definitely suits her face shape. The slits add some sexiness to the whole look because in my opinion if there weren't any cuts she'd look like a nun.

There you have it guys, my favourite looks from this year's AMA's. As you can see the whole monochrome look was really in trend. I'm jealous to the people that can rock white all the time. I've not always been a huge fan of wearing white as it gets dirty very fast, but I'm slowly easing into it. Which were your favourite looks this year and which trends are you diggin'?

Jacket, Skirt & top -  Vero Moda

Ciao bella!
So it's been a week since my last post and I feel like I really neglected my blog for a longer period of time than I actually did, which makes me kinda sad. Anyway about 2 weeks back I attended our annual dinner party at work, this was the first time I was attending and thus I felt the need to go shopping for an outfit that would always remind me of that specific day. So one day after school I headed straight to the mall with my  mind set to finding either a midi skirt or dress but somehow I ended up with these three items.
I wore all three items and my favourite wedges that I've been misusing like crazy these past couple of months!
It was a really black outfit but the red leather jacket added a bit of colour so that I didn't totally get lost in the darkness. I've always wanted a skater skirt and I think I might have just found the perfect one, and that leather jacket too, there was a black one available as well but was only in a bigger size. I must tell you though, it was very tempting to go for the black one though. Also the top is really pretty with silvery detailing on the neckline and shoulder sides, it doesn't need accessories with all the detailing and it added just the perfect touch of glam to the outfit. Everything was purchased in Vero Moda but the clothing's by Only.

What's been happening over here the past week is excess studying and sleepless nights which have been leading to oversleeping and showing up late for  my classes. I'm so sleep deprived right now and the finals are coming up like; how am I going to survive?
I'm headed straight for bed right now and see you guys in my next post.

Beauty | Smokey

Hello, my beautiful readers. Hope you're all doing well. I just wanted to check in quick showing you this look that I had promised to show on here, I used the Lóréal eye shadow palette that my mum had got me a while back which I love! It was very affordable and the colours in it are really pigmented and bright. So far I've only been able to use the black one but will definitely be trying out the other colours as well, might even do a swatch post just to show you how exactly pigmented they are. If you'd be interested in seeing that sort of post then make sure to let me know below.

Now I'm off to work and will most likely not have any time for blogging the rest of the week as I've got so many other things to focus on, hopefully I won't be gone too long.
Have a great rest of the week.

Wish I Was Wearing | Darker tones

Good morning loves.
I'm feeling a bit better than before thus I managed to push myself to attend school yesterday and today seeing as I'd been missing out on a lot the past three days that I didn't attend. I have the motivational quotes and lines to thank because without them I'd probably still be in bed right now, I've been reading a lot of those and I've made a habit of doing so before I go to bed and early in the morning when I wake + listening to Fuse ODG's 'Antenna' always gets me going.

Lately I've been really loving this whole grunge vibe thing-y going on, been mostly inspired by tumblr and my girl Nok of CrystalCosmicChic, check out her blog as to me she's the queen of grunge. Deep inside I always had that grungy side to me but rarely showed it and now after getting my nose pierced I've been feeling even more bad gyal-ish thus the need to wear something grungy. It might also be that I'm going through a phase... nonetheless I love me some grunge.
This outfit is something I'd totally see myself rocking, I'm still on the hunt for the perfect boyfriend coat and also I've been eyeing a few bowler hats in Topshop and Asos. As you can see the outfit's very dark toned and that's why I added this red satchel for a bit of colour.

This weekend I'll be attending our annual dinner party at work which I'm very excited about, went shopping yesterday after school and purchased some pretty awesome stuff which you'll be seeing on here soon. Also excited to show you some outfit posts so keep your eyes poked out for that!
Otherwise, how will you be spending your weekend?

Outfit | And the beanie's back

Shirt - New Yorker | Necklace - Gifted | Beanie - By Beechfield | Bottoms - Outlet | Shoes - USA

I really need to stop wearing this same shirt over and over, I can't say the same for the beanie because it's my favourite haha. I'm at home sick again, took a day off yesterday and today just to recover as I've kind of over worked my body the past week with work and school. Even though I am sick I'm still forcing myself to do a bit of assignments here and there but to the truthful my head feels like exploding and my nose is running like I get paid for it.
Tomorrow hopefully I'll feel a bit better than today. Won't be saying more for now.
See you in my next post and have a good week.

Nails | Bubblicious by Maybelline

 Bubblicious - Maybelline Color Show

Won a giveaway I think last month that was held by Trendnet.is and the price were two nail polishes from the Maybelline color show line and a dip-in nail polish remover. Since then I've already used this nail polish a few times and it last a long time, once I had it on for almost 2 weeks. The application is quite thick some maybe need to only use 1 coat but for me I always use 2 or more just to get a more in depth colour.
In these pictures I have about 2-3 on.
This is the first time ever that I'm trying out the color show nail polishes and so far so good.

Insta-Krush // #6

Flying over the Atlantic Ocean // While in Milan
Braided these myself // Going out
Won giveaways from Trendnet & It's True!
Both outfits were worn on nights out.
Sushi // Beautiful sunset

Hope you had a fine weekend, I was at home all weekend being lazy. All I did was sleep, watch reality tv shows and eat haha. Overall it was a good one and pretty relaxed and good for me to let my body recharge from all the stress that followed the week before due to school and just more personal stuff, it was good to spend some time alone and somewhat sort out my priorities. I haven't posted an insta-krush for a while so I thought I'd share with you all my favourite picks from the month of September, some even from the month of October.
I wish you a fun and positive week ahead!
