Inspiration | Pop of Red

With the colder season upon us there's nothing I'm looking forward too more than to start rocking my beanies again and layer as much as I want to without later on having to strip each piece off myself one by one. The best thing about autumn and winter for me is being able to wear as much black as I want, beanies, the warm drinks and some faux fur which I love!

All summer I've been talking about the mum and boyfriend jeans but never seem to actually get myself a pair lol. To be honest I have looked everywhere but maybe not as much as I should, now seeing as school's starting and yesterday was my last day of work at my summer job I'll have more free time on my hands for discovering things and dedicating more time to the blog. This outfit is just to give you guys an idea of what is to come on the blog regarding outfits, a lot of more darker tones and a bright colour here and there to liven up the entire look a bit. I'm now off to the gym and schools starts tomorrow eek!

Outfit | Keflavíkurnætur Day 2

Blazer, wedges, bag - H&M | Necklace - Velvet.is | Skirt - 3 Smárar
Casio watch | Earrings - Primark

Here's my outfit for Saturday, I wanted coloured and opted for this gorgeous pink blazer from H&M, I'veg got a red one as well and that's one of many ways that I like adding colour to my outfits, either with a blazer or bag. Simple while still remaining stylish. Oh and I want a bit of sexiness going on thus I wore this lace leotard that I do not even remember where it was bought, it's been that long. Believe when I tell you that I bought this mini skirt a very looooong time ago and this was the first time that I used it... that just goes to show that I definitely need to go through my wardrobe and rearrange everything.

Outfit | Keflavíkurnætur Day 1

Blouse - 3 Smárar | Bottoms - H&M | Heels - Deichmann | Casio watch | Earrings - Leonard

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend and all ready for the week ahead. Myself I was free all weekend and there was a two day festival that went on this year for the first time. My girls and I decided to check it out and it was a lot of fun, there were  known Icelandic musicians playing at the main clubs all over town so there was a plenty to feed the ears and eyes.

Today I'm showing you guys my outfit for Friday night, the weather was quite good but it was windy and in all honest I just wanted a laid back comfortable look with some pretty heels that I got a couple of years back while I lived in Denmark. I've worn them very little because they aren't the most comfortable shoes out there but for this particular night I decided to suck it up and cry about the pain later; which was the next morning. I had to tip-toe around the house the first 20 minutes. Still it was all worth it. And I took out my braids, this is how my hair looks straightened, it stays like this for a few days then goes back to being the difficult hair that it is.

Outfit | Red Blazer

Blazer, wedges, necklace - H&M | Top - New Yorker | Ripped jeans - Amsterdam

Just wanted to show you an outfit from about a year ago, I really liked the way it looked; especially the hair. This is exactly what inspired me to have my hair the way I do today because back then I'd loved it so much and decided why not try it again. These black wedges haven't appeared on the blog for quite sometime now but seeing as winter's approaching they're bound to have an appearance very soon.

Inspiration | The Dark Side

Pictures via Tumblr & Pinterest

Good morning beautiful people. It's a very beautiful and sunny Monday over here and I've got the day of which is something I really need seeing as I think I've somehow managed to twist a hamstring and it's really painful to walk. Anyway today I don't plan on doing much really, just stay at home with a good book and catch up on some blogs while preparing a few posts to come. Recently I've found myself obsessing more and more over darker tones of everything; like literally. Whether it be shoes, clothes, make up and even home decor pieces. It all seems that I'm slowly but surely approaching the dark side...

Outfit | Black Is In

Leather jacket - Vero Moda | Dress - Gina Tricot | Bag - Zara | Converse | Casio watch
Mum probably looking at me like "what's wrong with you and what's that face you're making?" :)
Mum's outfit is all tailored.

Happy Friday loves! Today I've got an outfit post, wore it last Wednesday when mum and I had a bit of girl time in the city. We started our day by having a very late lunch at a spot called Kaffi Sólon, it's right in the middle of the shopping street and you can get pretty much anything there. The sun was shining and overall it was a very great way to begin the day. After our lunch we walked a bit and looked in stores then we later headed to a café for some coffee.
I got this dress back in February when I visited Oslo, Norway. I just didn't get the chance to wear it and finally the sun came and I took it out to play, although I got quite uncomfortable as it got warmer outside. It's a perfect bodycon dress that is fit for many occasions; guess it all depends on how you style and wear it.

Nails | Top 5 Colours

Although the summer season's almost over I thought why not post my Top Five nail varnishes that I've found myself gravitating towards more than once and talk a little more about them. I'm a sucker for both bright and dark varnishes plus it's always good to have a new colour that I've not yet used in my collection just so I can have something to look forward to. Today I'll be talking about these favourites of mine, if you're interested then keep on reading.

Outfit | Hearts all Over

H/M
Coat - Krummaskúð | Shirt - Spúútník | Playsuit - Primark | Boots - H&M | Bag - Zara

The weekend's finally here and I'm working both days while everyone else is out camping or at the four day Þjóðhátið festival that's going on in Vestmanneyjar - Vestmann Islands. I've never been to this festival before because it's always raining and I don't enjoy getting wet or being outside in the mad wearing heavy clothes for warmth... it's just not my scene so I'd rather stay home. Talk about a boring life huh?
Anyway today I'm showing you guys this outfit that I wore sometime this week, I had the day off and my friend and I went for a window shopping stroll down town, ate macaroons + coffee and had a good chat. The sun was shining all day but it still wasn't safe to go about bare legged so I threw on tights and a playsuit, added some heeled booties for a bit of height and I was out there door.
Have a great weekend and I'll talk to you in my next post. xo
