Happy Sunday guys. As I've mentioned before the weather here isn't very summer-like. It rains, then the sun comes out for only about 1-2 hours WHEN I'm working and then disappears again and it's back to rain and gloomy skies. The next day this routine repeats itself and it's very frustrating, all I ask for is a bit of sun to take some summer appropriate outfits.
Anyway the other day I went ahead and set my tripod and camera ready, put on a somewhat of a summery outfit and shot some pictures indoors just to give you guys a break from the heavy coats and whatnot. Loved the results and I'll definitely be doing more of this, and as soon as I finish taking the photos I go straight back into my comfy PJ's.

Outfit | Love This Life

Scarf - Outlet (Zara) | Peplum top - Primark | Bottoms - Gallerí | Casio watch | Shoes - Charity Shop | Rings - Lindex x Markets

Hope everyone's had a great start to the weekend so far, oh and if you're wondering why this title, it's because I'm currently listening to a song of the same name from T.I.'s album titled 'Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head'. The song is somewhat similar to his other song 'Whatever you like', and it sends a very great message of what's important and what's not and how we should just love this life we have instead of chasing around money, cars, shoes and jewelry.
I decided to add a statement necklace to spice up the outfit a little and that scarf. It was very comfortable throughout the day and I didn't feel too 'dressed up' either. This blazer is back again and this is sure not the last time you'll be seeing it.

And don't forget to enter the GIVEAWAY if you haven't yet done so!

Happy Wednesday my lovelies! So this week started off somewhat great/not-too-good because the teachers have now gone on strike which means I'm off from school for maybe a week to 4 or even 8 weeks. They've decided to strike at the worse time and now is a  lot of confusion going on as I'm planning on graduating Christmas time this year and also the worst part is that no one has any idea of how long this will go on for. I wish upon the teachers to get their share so this can stop.

Although the strike does sort of have a positive part, it is that I now have more free time to blog and sleep in, so far I'm doing alright and I am also studying here and there by myself while many students see this as time for parties and late night shenanigans. The negative part to it is that it will eventually get boring and repetitive but I plan on being as productive as one can be when you have free time on your hands.

On to the outfit, bought this BEAUTIFUL t-shirt out in Norway after the 30 Seconds to Mars concert which was BEYOND what I expected; I mean I knew and had seen that they put up great shows and all but being there and experiencing that was a whole other thing and I wish to relive that once again in the future. If I could afford it I'd have bought so many things from their merch store. This very day (that I wore the outfit) I was feeling like wearing dark colours and letting my nail polish and the pink in the t-shirt add a 'pop' of colour so it wasn't too black. The pants I'm wearing are actually green so I'm guessing that also acts as a pop of colour right?

Beauty | January Faves

Just wanted to show you guys my January favourites. They are mostly beauty items as you might have noticed.
From left:  Clean&Clear blackhead cleansing daily scrub | Atrix hand cream | L'oreal triple active daily moisturizer | Bobbi Brown foundation stick in #8 - Walnut | Rimmel's Scandal eyes mascara | Smashbox's Infrared matte lipstick | Kylie Minogue fragrance - Showtime | Elf eyeshadow kit | Mac studio finish concealer in NW50 | Maybelline liquid eyeliner | Artdeco brow pencil #2 | Lindex hoop earrings | Casio watch
You can't possibly understand how much I love this lip stick, it gives me such a classic look and really boosts my confidence. I always end up feeling like a million bucks when I have this baby on.

This morning I woke up feeling sick, but still I got myself to school, though during the first period I just wasn't feeling myself. I felt sicker than earlier and so I was debating whether or not to go home (which would make me miss math revision before the test tomorrow). In the end going home was the best option for me and so I went ahead and headed for home. Once I got home I hit the sack and woke up 2 hours later feeling a little better than before and to my luck I happened to receive a text from one of my class mates letting me know that the test has been postponed till Monday which made me happier, more sleep for me tonight instead of studying!

Now I'll go ahead and work on some of my never-ending school work while it's still sunny outside (hope I don't fall asleep!)

Outfit | Fur + Bun

Good afternoon my beauties, January's coming to an end and to be honest I didn't do much this month (other than reading like a maniac, I managed to finish the book Grafarþögn for my Icelandic class in about 2-3 weeks). The post-Christmas sales are coming to an end as well and believe it or not; I haven't purchased a single thing. I'm saving my mula for important things and I'm very proud of myself.
Yesterday on my way to school I decided to take the tripod and my camera with me so that on my way home I would stop somewhere and shoot a couple of outfit photos, but one of my lovely friends offered to shoot for me which I was very happy about because there was so much wind yesterday and can you imagine my mini-self outside in the cold wind trying to pose and not break my expensive camera hahah.

I'm still feeling under the weather so I played a bit with layering, I have a tunic under my striped top, the fur vest and then the jacket to top it off.
My bun ended up being destroyed by the evil wind and my friend H didn't give me a heads up.

I wore this outfit last week but hadn't got the chance to post it until now. It was a Friday and for some random reason I felt like wearing black almost from head to toe. I didn't quite do that, but I was very close to succeeding.
School's been crazy, so far I've had two tests already, the first one I received a 9.0, today I got a 10.0, I've got another test tomorrow and another one on Friday. This is all in my Icelandic class, each day I have to read about 5 chapters! Goodbye social life.

Now I will return to my studies!

Outfit | Wedding + Tapas Bar

Hello ladies, and gents! Hope everyone is well and excited for the beginning to a new month.
My oh my does time fly, I feel like we entered the month of June just a couple of days ago. My countdown to my summer trip (to Zambia) is almost coming to an end. I will be flying out soon and I'm  beyond excited!
June was a very busy month for me, I attended my second wedding in my whole entire 18 years of being alive. It was so much fun that I completely put off taking photos and instead enjoyed the amazing company that surrounded me.

Above are my step-father and mum looking ravishing, I think. I like how their clothes choice in a sense contrast very well side by side. (at the wedding)

Mum had changed into denim pants + she added a leather jacket and a bag for dinner. Though she decided to keep on the traditional top. We went to a Spanish bar/restaurant (Tapas bar).

For the wedding I was very behind on what to wear and all that. The night before the wedding I was caught up in stress to find the perfect outfit and blah blah blah. I never ended up putting it together (far from it!)
Actually the next morning's when I though to wear my then newly-purchased floral pants (which are by the way very comfortable!).

I paired them with a pink blazer + my beautiful white wedges that I've owned for the longest time but never ever got a chance to use them (was too scared to ruin them because I drag my feet when walking + they are a bit annoying to walk in and they are always slipping off, especially my left foot so I just like admiring them from the top shelf where they are usually stored)
Since the white wedges were a nightmare I decided for dinner and a stroll in town with mum; I opted for my ever some comfy grey wedges that I've been wearing like crazy this summer. They are so comfortable I could literally win a marathon in them!

Why do these shoes got to be such a nightmare, look how pretty they are. Wouldn't you like to use them a lot more if you had them? :/

Oh and I had my hair in it's own natural state, I just lightly finger combed it. I like the messy don't care look. Unfortunately that didn't last very long because now I have braids.

The Food
Fried chicken + dip + veggies

Fried eggplants + veggies (Oh my this dish tasted so good!!!)

Fish (can't recall which type)

Fish (can't recall the name either)

And again another fish course (no name)
Okay, so my mother went a little crazy with her fish ordering. They were very yummy though ( I snatched a bit for  a taste lol)

What I'm Wearing:
Blazer | Gifted
Top | H&M
Floral pants | Hagkaup
Shoes | Grey ones (Roots, Sweden) & White pair (charity shop)
Bag | Zara (gifted)
Rings | Lindex

Props to my mother for taking these pictures, they turned out better than the last (more of her work to be showcased hahah)

That's it for the day peepz, I gladly hope you enjoyed reading this post, let me know below if you did. Today I spent the day at the mall with mum doing some well, late summer shopping? does that even count lol.
This week I plan on posting an "update" post explaining why I've been MIA the past couple of weeks. Also I'm planning on doing a tag post and that kinda thing + I have a lot of  catching to do regarding the blogsphere.

Happy July!
xoxo

Outfit | Plaid + my lovely brogues!

Hello everyone, it's been like two weeks since I last posted. The reason being I was busy with work and the stress that followed end of exams.. (which is waiting for the results and seeing how I held myself through this semester). The good news is that I passed 6 out of 7 subjects, two more years (or less if I do well) remaining of my high school days!

I'm making this post as short as possible because right now the clock is literally hitting 11:00PM and I must run over to my friend's house to get some board games for my 18th birthday tomorrow (in one hour, May 19th)! I'm turning 18 fellas!!!! I'm so stocked you have no idea. I will tell you all about it after it's over and be prepared for pics loaded posts to come.

I'm go now. Bye!

xoxo
