Happy Monday you gorgeous people! I'm in a really great mood, the past week I've been attending courses for my summer job from 08:00 hrs - 16:00 hrs every day and it's been great. Each day is always different and we learn something new. I'm finishing the course this coming Thursday and straight after I'm going to start working full-time so this summer there's probably not going to be any travelling for me seeing as I've already gone to Copenhagen and Amsterdam (2x) in the past two months. Although I have a feeling that for my birthday this year I want to visit a new place, we'll have to see about that next month.

Anyway back to the post, as I mentioned in the past blog posts, I recently went to Amsterdam; which by the way is my favourite city. I went there for an open-day and also later for interviews and presentations so it was all very exciting except for the fact that on the recent trip I caught some virus and fell sick instantly after arriving home and I'm just not getting back to feeling like myself again. I want to share with you some pictures I shot while there, they aren't many because I was too busy enjoying my few days there sightseeing and drinking too many glasses of Heineken.

I love all sorts of animal prints, but I seem to be more fond of cheetah print. I own quite a collection of cheetah printed items ranging from jeans, wedges, scarves, blouses/tops to earrings! I'm surprised I don't own a cheetah printed bag somewhere. Anyway I love the print especially as a eye-catcher, it makes a great accessory for adding a bit of life to any look. I snagged the pair above in a sale and I've yet to wear them. They are pretty and bit too wild for some people out there but it'd look perfect with an all black outfit. I'm excited to wear them.

How Would You Wear | Colour-Blocking

A simple and colourful outfit for this month's HWYW challenge. The theme was colour-blocking hence the bright contrasts. To be honest it was kind of hard for me to come up with an outfit because I noticed that my wardrobe these days consists mainly of navys, greys and blacks, which aren't colours that come up to mind when I hear the word colour blocking.

Three Looks for Coachella '15

The first weekend of the Coachella arts and music festival is over and the second and final one's just around the corner. The line-up this year is top-notch as per usual, no disappointments there. In honour of the festival I decided to create three looks to inspire those going to Coachella or if you simply live in a more warmer climate than I do, then this will maybe help with your next outfit choice. Take a look at the looks I would wear to the 3-day festival.
Coachella '15 | Look 1

The first outfit is very simple and girly. Throw on a floral playsuit and a jumper to keep warm in the evening, don't forget the sunglasses and the fringed bag! Also if you're a small person like me, you will know that going to festivals can be very frustrating especially when your favourite artist is performing and you can't see a thing because some giant (no offense to the tall people) in front is blocking your view. My advice is to wear your most comfortable pair of sandals with a heel for a bit of added height. #smallpeopleproblems

I'm finally back for good, do expect a lot of posts to come from travelling and beauty related because I've done quite a bit of travelling in the past weeks and I've got a lot of photos to show you guys. Also I shopped a little bit while at it so there will be brand new outfit pics featuring the clothing items I purchased, I'm all positive because this month started well for me and I plan on keeping the positivity for the rest of the month and onto the next month as well.

This very industrial styled apartment in Stockholm, is home to photographer and interior designer  Benedikte Ugland and her two daughters. It features a mix of old & new furniture, concrete, black flooring & some beautiful Moroccan tiles & brass fittings in the bathroom ... love the way Benedikte has wrapped the lights around the black pole!

Happy Easter everyone and I hope you all had a lovely day with your families. Recently I've been lacking inspiration or I either just don't have the time; which usually results in me taking breaks from blogging. Today though I wanted to show you some kitchen inspiration in case someone out there is in the middle of decorating their studio/apartment. I know I cannot wait for the day that I will move out so I can keep changing my home decor every few weeks to what suits me. I keep up with a lot of Scandinavian interior designers, Swedish ones in particular and my favourite is Benedikte Ugland. I love her mix of old and new furniture, concrete and also some Moroccan tiles which are always a beautiful touch.
