Adam Levine (yoga + tattoos = yum) I accidentally pinned this to decorating ideas, was gonna move it to "Hotties" board but decided that Adam Levine can decorate me with his body :-)
Fitness: For my P.E classes this semester I chose hot yoga because I'd started practicing it sometime last year but then became really lazy and never showed up for further classes so that's why I decided to give it another try this year and so far I'm loving it. Some may think/find the heat disturbing but actually it helps with stretching your muscles and making each position even less painful.
Strawberry Avocado Spinach Salad
Diet: ever since starting the new year I've aimed for a more healthier diet by cutting out soda and junk food. I love me so KFC yo but I've managed to not eat any fast food for about 2-3 weeks now and I'm very proud. I don't miss it at all even though sometimes I've had to struggle with the urge to head straight to Serrano or anywhere I can get fries RIGHT after the gym. Madness init? Anyway I've been good with eating a good breakfast before going about my days.
Motivational Quotes I Truly Believe In #motivational #quote
Motivation: sometime back I'd bought a book titled 'Self-Confidence' by Paul McGee just for the fun of it and to see how I was doing in that category. I read some parts of the book and that is really what go me into the whole quotes thing and today I take them very seriously as to whereby each night before I go to bed and/or each morning I read to myself one quote for motivation and to remind me that I'm closer to my dreams that I was yesterday. It's made a lot of change in this 1 month, if you are one to have really bad days where you just feel very uninspired and you don't want to do anything then I highly suggest you try this method.

Started this year off with a lot of positive energy and making sure not to let any little thing or person affect me and bring me down. When I was younger my mother used to tell me that if someone spread lies about me or talked behind my back then they were probably just intimidated and were jealous of my qualities. It's something I still live by till this very day. By doing so people might think of you as a self-absorbed person but in a truth all you need to do is ignore them and their negativity and I guarantee you that the silence will drive them even more crazy.
Positive vibes only.xx

Grammy Awards 2014 | Favourites

Chrissy Teigen - Johanna Johnson | Ciara - Emilio Pucci. And how cute does her lil' baby bumb look.
Beyoncé - Michael Costello | Paris Hilton - House of Milani
Katy Perry - Valentino Couture | Kacey Musgrave - Armani Privé dress + Daniel Yuman jewelry
Colbie Caillat - Ezra Santos | Alicia Keys - Armani Privé
Kelly Osbourne - Badgley Micshka | Rita Ora - Lanvin

Coming in with some of my favourite looks at this year's Grammy Awards. There were a lot of rich and bright colours to be seen as well as sparkles. Also ruffles and floral designs seemed to be very much in last Sunday at Staples Center. The after parties also had a lot of different outfits so there's a lot to get inspiration from.  Which on of these was your favourite?

Nails | Call me Gwen-ever

Call me Gwen-ever - O.P.I

Happy Sunday everyone and I hope your weekend was good. I was just at home studying, didn't party or anything as I happen to be taking a break and concentrating more on my studies. Otherwise it was a pretty good one. I wanted to show you this polish seen in my last outfit post called 'Call me Gwen-ever' from the Spiderman collection by O.P.I that came out sometime last year. It's somewhat of a dusty orange almost coral polish depending on what kind of lighting you're in. It's perfect for the summer and spring time and suits any skin tone. Wishing you all an amazing week ahead.xx

Wishlist #4

Happy Friday loves, hope you have/ are having/ had a great day depending on which part of the world you're in. I'm glad everyone liked my personalised beanie that I talked about in my last 2 posts, if you haven't seen it then make sure you do. Today I have another wishlist post including a plaid shirt, a deep red lipstick; especially 'Ruby Woo' from MAC. I've been eyeing this baby for the longest time but never actually bought it when in the store. Anyway, then I also really want a Michael Kors wrist watch, the only watch that I own is my Casio I'd received from my lovely mum two Christmases ago and ever since I've been wearing it constantly and that's why I feel the need to purchase another one so I can give this one a rest. Also since the sales begun I've been on the hunt for a perfect of high waist jeans that are comfortable as well but the searching hasn't been going too well. I'm just unlucky like that. I've also fallen in love with satchels and the Cambridge ones are on the top of my list right now, and of course one can never have too many beanies right...

Outfit | Layering

Shirt, scarf - H&M | Skirt - Dótturfélagið | Bag - Dorothy Perkins | Watch - Casio
 Rings - H&M, France & Italy  | Bracelets - H&M & Swarovski

Here's an outfit featuring my new favourite thing, this beanie that I got off of Ebay and the best thing about it is that it has my name on it and it's BLACK. I love me some black yo. Anyway wore this for a bit of a straw around the mall then went on a lunch date with one of my girls. Right now I look like a hobo because I haven't done anything to my hair for weeks, it's really dry and rough and the undergrowth is killing me. Wish I had time to do braids in myself because I'm nowhere near going to pay almost $350 just to braid me when I can do it myself with my mum's help here and there. It might be time consuming and very annoying at times but I'd rather save my money than pay that kind of amount. Oh and as for this semester, so far these past couple of weeks have been great, feeling very energised most days and very ambitious to achieving my goals. Also been shopping on the side so look out for a haul post soon.

New In | Personalised Beanie

Somewhere between November and December I'd bought myself another beanie for the winter time and I found this one on Ebay, decided to have my first name on it and then 'Ivy' which is a name I've been using for my social media stuff for the past years so I thought  why not as some people already call me by it. I also gave one of my best friends a same one for Christmas and she LOVED it. I'll definitely be ordering some more. The beanie's one size and fits perfectly on me and it's really warm and thick; the only down side to it is that I wish the letters were a little bit thicker so they'd be more noticeable. Other than that I've been wearing this beanie ever since and there's an outfit post coming soon featuring this bad boy.
Happy Friday guys!

Golden Globes 2014 | Men in Black

Leonardo Di Caprio in Giorgio Armani | Bradley Cooper in Tom Ford
Chris Pine in a Ermenegildo Zegna Couture tuxedo | Orlando Bloom in Lanvin

You last read about my choices of best dressed at the Golden Globes this season, today I'm coming to you with my favourite men in their finest suits and they look so lavish. This time around I only chose my four most favoured ones to avoid a long post. Black was popular (as per usual) amongst the men except for Usher who stood out in an oxblood coloured suit. Even though they may all seen to look the same because of what they're wearing; they's still the little details and just personally the way they wear their outfits that makes them special. And also they just look so damn good.

Wanted to show my favourite loks from the Golden Globes this year. You could see a lot of lace and chiffon wandering the red carpet Sunday night. I stayed up a little bit late just so I could watch the pre-show live on E. I found Cate Blanchett's look very intimidating, I don't know, something about that dress and the look she gave to the cameras, I felt as though she was looking deep down into my soul.

Outfit | An evening with Russell Brand

My friend Hulda's outfit:  Shoes - Hagkaup (see here
***will update later***
Blazer & t-shirt - H&M | Pants - Outlet | Bag - Thrifted | Shoes - Roots
Watch - Casio | Earrings - Gifted

Forgot to show these pictures but they are from back in December when I had gone to see Russell Brand in Harpa. The show was amazing, I learned a lot as well and had a good laugh. Lots of good jokes as well as nasty ones were made but the crow cheered on. He was amazing and I was so glad to have gone. It was also quite refreshing as I'd been taking a break from studying for my finals. I didn't want to wear a skirt or dress because there was snow outside and it was very cold but I knew I wanted some colour so I went with some basic bottoms and t-shirt then added a pink blazer to liven up the outfit a little. Went with my roots booties because they hadn't been used for a while.
What do you think of this look?

Currently Craving | The Chunky Heel

I've been lusting for a pair of ankle booties/sandals with a chunky heel for the longest time now, at first I always found them to be ugly but as time passed I grew fonder of them and now I'm dying to get myself a pair and there's already one I've been eye-ing on Ebay as well as in Topshop, they are not too different from one another but of course the ones on Ebay are way cheaper than the Topshop ones including toll. I really want them in white as they're likely to make more of a statement than the black ones but then again I still am not too sure of how much use I'll get out of them. Decisions, decisions.
Do you own any chunky heeled shoes; and if so how do they feel when you walk in them, are they heavy?

White nails, love the rings as well

Images via tumblr x pinterest

Lately I've been really loving wearing white nail polish, I had some cheap one I'd bought a long time ago and it has dried out which makes it hard for my nails to look sleek after painting them with the polish so I'm thinking of replacing it with Alpine Snow from O.P.I or an Essie one. I own only one Essie polish and I'd like to explore them further. Alpine Snow is a gorgeous cream white colour which I think looks good on no matter your skin tone. Also it doesn't matter how long or short your nails are, they'll still look really good.
Today was my first day back to school and it was a little hard to function as I had trouble falling asleep the night before and I didn't sleep until 2:30 am or so and waking up very early in the morning. I'm so used to sleeping around that time and always waking up at noon so the first couple of weeks are definitely going to be hard ones.

New In | Maybelline, Gosh & O.P.I

Keeping Suzi at bay - O.P.I
 Aloe Vera lip balm
Lip liner in 'wild cherry' - Gosh
'Kitch 86' lipstick - Gosh
'904 vivid rose' lipstick - Maybelline

Here are a couple of beauty related items that I want to share with you all. I'd purchased them a while back but somehow my silly self managed to forget about them and go about my life without even posting about them on here, even though I'd taken these pictures a long time ago. That's the reason I'm showing them to you guys now. For the longest time I've been dying to get my hands on a bright pink lipstick that didn't make me look like a drag queen but like a natural looking version of a barbie doll and I think I might have just found what I've been searching for. It's the color sensational vivid rose (904) one from Maybelline. It's already been used twice and I love it, it doesn't at all wash me out and it's perfect. The gosh lipstick was also something I needed wanted, a nude lipstick, every girl's got to own one right? I've not worn it yet but the swatch convinced me so it came home with me. The lip liner was to replace my old one that I'd lost and the nail polish... well it was an impulse buy.
