Outfit | Blogger Style Swap w/ Diane

 Shirt - H&M | Skirt - Vero Moda | Tights - Hagkaup | Shoes - Ebay

Hello guys! So today I have a different and very exciting post for you all featuring Diane of Dee Vine Anonyme. She's been a reader of my blog all the way from the very beginning and it's always  a pleasure reading her blog. Also I feel like I know her even though we've never met a day in my life. Hopefully it'll happen in the future because I think she's a cool person to hang out and go shopping with. It's also amazing how much her blog's grown and evolved so much, very inspiring. If you lack inspiration for outfits then I highly suggest you check out her blog; you won't be disappointed.

So as I was saying, I'm taking part in a segment of hers' titled 'blogger style swap' where her and another fellow blogger choose an outfit of the other person's and remake it. You could choose to have it the same exact or just similar colours and/or textures and items or switch it up a little bit. I chose her outfit above because it's something I'd totally see myself wear and a also I wanted to use my new shirt. I didn't find any shirt similar to the one she's wearing so I just went with this polka dotted one and my current favourite booties from Ebay, will be talking about them in my next post so stay tuned. I really liked the way the whole look turned out.

It's All About The Coat

'IT' coats fo Spring

Been seeing the light coats all over the internet lately and it's made me want to get myself one. I've been hunting for one on Ebay and other sites but still no luck. I won't give up just yet though because I'm not a quiter. I love the classic trench but the lighter one's more my thing and as well the waterfall type i.e. the coat on the left side. The colours above are so pretty too and that's what makes these coats perfect for spring.
Do you a coat like or and if not; then would you like one?

Off The Shoulder

'Off the shoulder' - Essie

Haven't done a nail polish in a while and seeing as I'd recently tried this new polish from Essie that I'd bought last summer but didn't get to use it until now. I love the colour and it contrasts very well against my skin tone. It's a polish I can wear any season really but I'm guessing by the tone and colour of it, it's more spring and summer appropriate. This sure isn't the last time you'll be seeing this nail polish on here so brace yourselves.

The Nail-art Bible

Happy Friday, it's now one week down with the strike and I've slept, a lot! Yesterday I spent my whole day laying in bed watching movies (Iron Man 3, The Hunger Games & Catching Fire). This morning it was G.I. Joe 1 and tonight's the second one from the sequel. It feels so good and I think I'm now well rested and would really like to go out and do something of use.

I received this book for Christmas and I've used it a few times but never talked about it. It contains a little over 50 nail design ideas for my eager self to try. There are a lot of useful tips for both before's and after's which I'm learning (even though I already knew most of them). Having a book + pinterest just makes everything easier and also makes me want to do nail art much more. Look out for some nail art related posts very soon!

Thirty Seconds To Mars

Blazer - Kolrassa | Bottoms - H&M | Boots - Charity Shop | Watch - Casio
Rings - Lindex & Street Markets

Happy Wednesday my lovelies! So this week started off somewhat great/not-too-good because the teachers have now gone on strike which means I'm off from school for maybe a week to 4 or even 8 weeks. They've decided to strike at the worse time and now is a  lot of confusion going on as I'm planning on graduating Christmas time this year and also the worst part is that no one has any idea of how long this will go on for. I wish upon the teachers to get their share so this can stop.

Although the strike does sort of have a positive part, it is that I now have more free time to blog and sleep in, so far I'm doing alright and I am also studying here and there by myself while many students see this as time for parties and late night shenanigans. The negative part to it is that it will eventually get boring and repetitive but I plan on being as productive as one can be when you have free time on your hands.

On to the outfit, bought this BEAUTIFUL t-shirt out in Norway after the 30 Seconds to Mars concert which was BEYOND what I expected; I mean I knew and had seen that they put up great shows and all but being there and experiencing that was a whole other thing and I wish to relive that once again in the future. If I could afford it I'd have bought so many things from their merch store. This very day (that I wore the outfit) I was feeling like wearing dark colours and letting my nail polish and the pink in the t-shirt add a 'pop' of colour so it wasn't too black. The pants I'm wearing are actually green so I'm guessing that also acts as a pop of colour right?

New In | H&M Ankle Boots

H/M
Ankle booties with buckles - H&M 200NOK = 33.00$

Bought these babies whilst abroad and I'm in love, been looking for a pair black boots to wear everyday for so ever seeing as my favourite Chelsea boots that I got from a charity shop a while ago seem slightly overused. Actually when I walked into H&M I was looking for something totally different, but then I spotted the 2 for 1 stand and saw these and another pair of shoes (that I'll be showing soon) as well as other things, I knew I couldn't walk out without them, on top of that they were the last pair in my size! We were meant to be. They are very comfortable and perfect for everyday use or a night out when I don't feel like wearing heels; although I do love my wedges. Also I love the silver buckles that add a little something to the look so they don't look so plain.

New In | Gina Tricot x H&M

Sports top - H&M
Polka dot shirt - H&M | Fuzzy jumper - Gina Tricot
 Pants - H&M
Earrings - H&M

Morning loves. Today I'll be showing the first part of the VERY few things that I purchased on my trip to Oslo, Norway the past month. It was a very short trip that was really more of enjoying some quality time with my friend and also concert going with a little shopping thus why I have not too much stuff to show compared to if I'd gone on a 2 week trip. Also Norway isn't on the list of cheap countries in the world so I decided to go easy with the money spending... on clothes, alcohol is a whole other story :)
This week's been a tough one, bad weather, lots of school work and too little time. The next 2 weekends are all fully booked with birthdays and work, I pray to God that I manage and also what a great excuse to be made up and not feel too overdressed.

More to come.xxx

A couple of items I found myself reaching for a lot in the past month. There isn't anything new really, you've seen pretty much each of these products before. These rings have been my favourites ever since purchasing them last summer and I've been wearing this nonstop. My Sunday will be spent in bed reading and then will probably watch some movie.

Oslo-bound | Going shopping
Quick OOTD shot | Travelling light
Iceland from the air | My friend A. at Nordby shopping center in Sweden
30 Seconds to Mars | Twin Atlantic
Happy Friday everyone.
I got off early today and I've just been lounging around, thinking of taking a much needed nap seeing as I didn't sleep enough last night due to studying. Above are a few pictures from the month of February and they are almost all taken abroad. As aforementioned in my last post, I was in Oslo for a few days to visit my friend and also attend a 30 Seconds to Mars concert which was AMAH-ZHING! It was quite the experience. My only problem with concerts is that I'm so small that it's very difficult to see everything lol. #tinygirlsproblems.

We were so damn close to the stage though and as Jared walked out my heart definitely skipped a beat, how is it possible to look so damn hot at the age of 42! And I was so happy for him at the OSCARS, I knew he'd win because he was really portrayed Rayon so well in the movie Dallas Buyers Club; if you haven't seen it yet then I suggest you do so, better yet tonight on a date?
I've got a 3 day weekend ahead of me and there's nothing much planned other than one birthday that I'll be attending and then work on Sunday. Will be catching up on some much needed sleep :)
Have an awesome weekend!xxx

Outfit | The Gold & Black Jumper

Fur Vest - Topshop | Jumper - Gyllti Kötturinn | Skirt - Dótturfélagið | Booties - Thrifted | Beanie - Ebay

It's been a minute since I last posted on here. It all started one Saturday morning when I woke up late for work, headed to the coffee house for a  large dark coffee to wake me up and get me ready for the day ahead, can you guess what happens next? I end up tripping on slippery floor and breaking my computer screen in the way and that's why I haven't been blogging for the rest of February, I felt vulnerable without my computer, like I couldn't do ANYTHING, everything was on there and there was no way of me accesssing all the photos I'd already taken and were being edited for the blog.

A while after that I went to Norway where I was visiting my friend for a couple of days and also attended a 30 Seconds to Mars concert since they are one of my many favourite bands out there. The show was amaze-balls and I'll most definitely be seeing them again in the future. What is it with those three, like seriously each and one of them is freakishly gorgeous in their own way. Ahhhh.

Now I'm back home and bloggin through my momma's computer but it's not the same as when done on mine, I feel like something's missing lol. Anyway I will also maybe do a haul about the things I bought while abroad and more outfits to come since the weather seems promising these days.
Wanted to show you guys these pictures of me wearing one of my recent purchases, it's so comfy and I like the colours. Just wore it with a skirt since I was after comfort. I hope you have a great week ahead and I'll see you in my next post.

Reykjavík Fashion Festival 2014

ELLA
@jor_by_gj A/W 2013 #rff #rff_is
JÖR by Guðmundur Jörundsson

March is one of my favourite months of the year because it's award season and in Iceland that means Design March starts and it always ends with Reyjavík Fashion Festival on the 29th from 11:00 am - 19:00 pm. RFF is a one day long fashion festival where Icelandic designers showcase their designs and what'll be coming in stores for the upcoming seasons. This will be the fifth time the festival's been held, I don't think I will be attending as it's quite expensive and also I could as well later on walk into the store and look at the items without loud and abnoxious overpowering music. This year I'm mostly excited to see designs by JÖR which is a highly known men's wear brand with very well tailored suits. I always love the details in men's clothing. Last year JÖR also opened a store for the ladies which was very exciting because I love their men's wear. It'll be interesting to see what they bring out for A/W 2014!
