Travel Diary | Berlin pt. 1

3:13 PM

Hey! Today I'm sharing some pictures I took on my trip to Berlin, I have quite a few so i've decided to divide them into two parts to keep things short and interesting because I know I easily get bored of endlessly scrolling through many pictures - with the exception of Tumblr, Instagram & Pinterest.

Starter -Lemon soup with a chunk of bacon, this is definitely the best one I've ever tasted!
Main - Pasta ofc.
Our first day was very relaxed as we had no sleep at all before travelling and myself I'd been awake for more than 36 hours! You can imagine how much I slept at the end of the day. The next day we took a 10-15 minute stroll to Kurfürstendamm; which is a popular shopping area where most of the  well-known designer houses like Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Chloe ect. are located. Later on we decided to have lunch at Hotel Mondial, we had a so-called 'business lunch' which consists of  a starter and main for the price of one dish at a relatively popular restaurant.
Visiting the Jewish Memorial, outfit post here.
We also visited Charlottenburg, it seemed a bit far on the map but it's only a few minutes from the city centre. There, there are a lot of shops to shop and restaurants and many vendors to eat from. I went to a very famous bookstore there called Bücherbogen, it's located in Savignyplatz, right under the Metro Station. I spent a good amount of time in there because they have all kinds of books from art, fashion, theatre and music. You can literally find anything you want in there.

I hope you enjoyed the post, part 2 should be up in the next coming days. At first I wasn't going to post anything because I'm experiencing a lot of trouble with my pictures, every time I've trie editing them and resizing; they loose so much quality. So instead of abandoning it completely, I decided to share them even though the quality isn't as I would have liked them to be.
I'm curious as to how you guys edit your photos, please do leave tips below of which editing softwares you use as well as how to avoid loss of quality when resizing, all tips will be greatly appreciated.

Till next time,
Esther. x
