My favourite time about the Holiday celebrations right behind stuffing my face is getting ready for the New Year. The thrill regarding the year upon us and the excitement of pampering myself and getting ready for a night out, last year was the first time that I ever went out as I usually prefer to keep myself warm in the comfort of my home. This year will be my second time out on the night for the celebrations and to continue the tradition I've put together 5 different outfits with 5 main pieces that I've focused on depending whether you're one to wear jeans, a dress, a skirt or would prefer a fab jumpsuit over anything else. In that case if you're blank on what to wear then keep on reading and hopefully you'll find one you like and can use it to get yourself feeling and looking fierce!

Outfit 1: To kick start this post is a piece of clothing that has been surfacing the web and magazines quite a lot this year, the jumpsuit. I've always loved them and wished I was a tad bit taller to be able to wear them as I please but nothing a pair of stiletto heels or platform heels can't fix. I chose silver accessories for once to take a break from the golds, the fluffy bag is a great touch to the outfit as well as the blue hat for colour and to protect your hair from snow or rain depending on where you're located.
Outfit 2: For the dress lovers this would be suitable. The dress isn't too short nor too long and a leather jacket is perfect to for warmth as well as to add a grunge feel to the outfit. A velvet dress instead of this one would also look really good. I love the shoes for this outfit, they bring out the silver particles in the dress.
Outfit 3: The blazer and heels are the main things here so I paired them with black and white bottom and top pieces to make them stand out even more. Add the colourful statement necklace to bring out the blue, gold and silver. A red pink or dark vampy lipstick would be perfect to top off this ensemble.
Outfit 4: I need these exact shorts in my life or something very similar, they are too pretty to pass out and can be styled in so many different ways, not only for more fancier occasions but everyday wear as well. The trench is great for covering oneself in this cold and brings class to the outfit. To top if off add a pair of bright heels and the hair would suit in a high ponytail or bun but mostly for my afro chicas it would look fab with a big fro.
Outfit 5: I saved my personal favourite for last, I'm sure all of you have noticed now that I have a thing for the colour blue. I just got a pair of these same exact platform sandals and I will be wearing them on the 31st. A pencil skirt to me always represents class and a lace one is even better. Lace = femininity. The Zara necklace is gorgeous and works well with the colours of the outfit, add a gold shiny bag for a bit of glitz and you're ready to party the night away.
A majority of these pieces aren't too pricey and also remember to work with what you already have, no need to go out and purchase a whole new wardrobe just to copy the outfits entirely. These are simply to inspire you and help you find those sequined short shorts you hid in the back of your wardrobe because you thought you'd never see yourself wear them ever again, now's the time to bring those babies out as well as the ghetto gold hoops. Oh and if you're interested in seeing what I had put together from last years, check it out here.
See you all in 2015! xo
