2015 in OUTFITS

Happy New Year loves. Thank you all for your constant support and the beautiful and lovely comments you all leave on my posts. Today I decided to share some of my favourite outfits from the past year. It sure flew by very quick and I wish I'd shot more outfits than I actually did, guess I'll have to try again this year. Anyway I hope you enjoy and make sure to check out the links under each outfit to read the full post in case you missed out on it.

How to style a jumper 3 ways: this was my all time favourite outfit from all three I came up with. There's just something about it and the fact that I paired this simple Sheinside jumper with a pair of vibrant trousers frrom Dr. Denim. You can find the full look here.

Monochrome: I love this dress paired with these heels. Also my half-way-taken-down braids looked kinda good that day. The dress is from Primark - full look.
Bodycon: there's nothing I don't love about this look, I love my heels and clutches and also tight clothing so this was perfection. Also adding the pink blazer for a bit of colour was a great idea now that I look at the pictures a few months later. Here's the full look.
Malmö: this photo was taken very close to the Central Station in Malmö when I was there last summer. It was my first time visiting Malmö and I loved it, stayed with some relatives for a few days and on the last day I spent it in Copenhagen with my friends from the high school days. Full look - here
Sequins & Floral: the outfit on the right you might recognise because it's long since I posted it on the blog. It was part of the December 'How Would You Wear' challenge that my friend Diane of DeeVine Anonyme hosts each month. Our theme last month was 'sparkle' thus I opted for this gorgeous sequin-y top. The outfit on the right I wore to my friends graduation party. The heels hurt like hell but I felt they suited the outfit more; plus beauty is pain... am I right?
Denim x Plaid: this Zara shirt's been worn way more than any other item in my wardrobe along with the leather jacket from Vero Moda. And that is exactly what I look for when shopping, pieces that will last me a lifetime no matter how much they're worn. Here's the full look.
Valentine's day: ahhh this outfit is literally everything! I got so many compliments both on the blog and Instagram. I don't know if it's the fact that my booty actually kinda looks good or what but I love it as well. Here's the full look.
The Golden Hour: wore this one back in October when my friend D. visited me from Copenhagen. We headed out for a late lunch and had some Icelandic soup overlooking the famous Hallgrímskirkja church in the center of Reykjavík. - full look.
The bodycon dress: in June I attend a music festival here in Iceland called Secret Solstice. It's a three day festival in the middle of June and the sun never sets. It's bright all day round and it's great for partying because I tend to get tired easily and quickly if it's dark outside; my brain just shuts down and feels like it needs some rest. I certainly hope you found this post amusing. I'm now going to refill my glass of wine, get my knitting gear and sit in front of the tele; let's see if I'll find any good movie to watch tonight. Last night I watched Crimson Peak - that movie was weird. I'm not even going to start explaining to you what it's about, just google it.
Again, thanks for making my blogging year a great one and I'm glad to have met such awesome people through this whole journey.

Have a great weekend.

Esther. x
