Autumn is fast approaching and it's time to start preparing for it with warmer clothes, statement necklaces, [here] you can see some other pieces. Along with the statement pieces there's the story of switching up summer foundations and concealers for lighter shades for the cold season. I got a few things to get me started and that's what I'm here to show you today. Hope it inspires someone out there.
M.A.C Studio Finish Concealer Duo: before I was using their pro long wear concealer, it was okay but I felt it give me a full coverage which is what I seek in my concealers as well as my foundations, you can see in [this] look that my imperfections are still noticeable even though I slapped on a junk of concealer. The reason why I bought this duo set is because I needed a lighter shade of concealer for cleaning/highlighting my eyebrows as well as one for under my eyes and to cover scars. The shades above are NW45/NC50.
Crisp white blazer/vest-top: Topshop is a store I don't go into too often just because I feel they are even extra pricey here in Iceland lol, but I always love their shoes and I think they carry a great selection of jeans for all sizes and shapes of nyaaash (my african ladies will understand). One day I walked in there to check out heels and the sales, that was my lucky day because I ended up walking out with this gorgeous piece that I cannot wait to style -and the blue necklace.
M.A.C lipstick [Taupe A45]: I've yet to use this lipstick and I want to do a review on it. Let me know below if you'd be interested in that. It's a matte lipstick and quite similar to the one I own Viva Glam 3 [here & here], although this one is a more on the brown side while the viva glam one is more pinkish.
That's it for this quick 'haul'. I just felt like showing you guys are they are recent purchases and in case one of you liked something, you still have a chance of finding these products in stores or online.

I have been contemplating getting a similar vest coat in khaki but honestly i cant seem to justify the purchase due to the fact that I would rather invest in a warm coat (one from Zara that am particularly eyeing). Other than that cant wait to see how you style it. Love the neck pieces.

DeleteI really really really want to get into makeup, but do not know where to begin! I love that vest and that lipstick is right up my alley in terms of what I'd want for a more muted color on my lips.
