July Favourites

5:23 PM

July is past us and it's time for my beauty favourites. Some of these products you might've already seen on here and I've provided links to the previous posts regarding some items in case you'll be interested in seeing that. It's going to be quite a long post so let's dive into it.

01. Maybelline Eyestudio 24h gel eyeliner: BEST. EYELINER. EVER! Seriously, last weekend I went out and had wings that could cut somebody along with my smokey eye, as the night came to an end, I couldn't be bothered to take of my make-up (bad girl...), the next morning my eyeshadows had moved around but my eyeliner stayed put, no smudges or anything and I could've continued wearing the same eyeliner all day.

02. Make Up Store face mist: I haven't tried too many face sprays aside from the LA Girl one so I wanted to try something new and I had to make a choice between the MAC prep + prime fix+ and the one pictures, I decided to go wit it as it's more affordable and feels fresh on the skin. It can be used before/after make up application or to simply rehydrate your face during the day.
03Mary Kay transluscent loose powder: this is the first ever translucent powder I've tried and so far, so good. It's been a great staple in my make-up routine, plus I've also found that it keeps my face makeup looking good for longer than only an hour or two. Of course I struggle with oily skin so it's a no brainer that I always have to retouch my makeup as the day goes on. #thestruggle

04. Real Techniques brushes: I've been a fan of the RT brushes ever since they came out and I can say that I'm very happy with having jumped on the bandwagon. The two brushes that stood out for me this past month are the contour and setting brushes, both have been used religiously in the past.
05Helena Rubenstein Powercell face cream: I recently talked about this face cream in this post, sadly it's finished and I'm thinking of repurchasing it...

06. L'Oreal color riche eyeshadows: this eyeshadow compact has been used for everything, from contouring, blush and as eyeshadows. As of now, I use it mostly to contour - I lightly blend the pink and purple eyeshadow till I get the shade I'm going for. Be careful when applying, I've learned the hard way that a little goes a long way.
07. Urban Decay Naked 3 palette: I can't stress how good the UD palettes are, and if I were to choose my favourite from the entire Naked palettes range; it'd definitely be this one because I love dark colours and see no shame in rocking a subtle smokey eye during the day. I've written about this palette here & here.

Those were my favourite products of July, which ones are you currently loving?
