Travel Diary | Berlin PT. 2
8:05 AM
I'm back with part 2 of my Berlin travel diary. In no way is this post focusing on showcasing particular touristy places or anything of that sort, but more so what I did on our trip. To be honest, I revisited all the same monuments and sights as before, I even went on the same hop-on hop-off bus as I'd gone on last year. As mentioned in the first segment of the 'series'; it was more about showing my mother around the city and I think I make a heck of tour guide.

Brandenburg Gate is probably my favourite of all places, along with the remains of the famous Berlin Wall. It's great to get to experience and see with our own eyes things that we've only read about in history textbooks at school.

Most of our days were spent walking around and exploring all the city had to offer, I had a beer almost everyday and I think my body's still recovering from all the toxic chemicals... plus I probably ate at every food vendor there is. In my opinion, Berlin has some of the most affordable and delicious street foods I've ever tried - I recommend Wok to Walk located very close to Bikini Berlin. Address: Hardenbergplatz 2.

Mall of Berlin - the only Mall I've been to. I prefer shopping in stores as malls for me just scream NOISE! The occasional stroll is alright but the thought of spending hours in there just frightens me. With this one it's a different story, I love the design and let me not even start on the food court. I had a mouth-watering curry chicken and rice plate that left me craving more, it's unfortunate that my jeans wouldn't allow.

I'll leave you with this cheeky selfie of mum and I enjoying some much needed and well deserved cold drinks. Also in case you missed out on the first post, you can find it here. I'll probably share part 3 sometime next week if not earlier.
