Away With Me | Bonjour-ing it up in France

10:00 AM

Day 1

Bonjour loves.
Finally back home and settled after a week in beautiful France.
We visited  Nîmes which is located in the southern part of France. Nîmes is the capital of the Gard department in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. We went there because my friend wanted to see his favourite guitarist in concert. Mark Knopfler was performing at the Arena of Nîmes and I must be honest with you guys, at first I had my doubts about the singer but after listening to him on YouTube; I became obsessed with his song Romeo and Juliet which has became my all time favourite track of his and I've been listening to it ever since. At the concert I was so glad that he sang the song and took a solo at the end... my god it was a blast! Pictures on that will come later but first; the outfit I wore out for exploring after our early arrival and a 6 hour nap that very same day.
La Fontaine de Pradier, such a gorgeous fountain right as you're about to enter the city centre and you can see the Arena peeking through in the back.
 My not polished toe nails..eek.
 Playsuit - Primark | Sandals x Bag - New Yorker | Watch - Casio

I gladly hope you guys enjoyed the first post and make sure to check back because there's a lot more to come soon. I have so many pictures; especially of food that ya'll are going to die over lol. I'm thinking of dividing these posts up with outfits only first and later on that's when I'd dedicate one or two blog posts particularly regarding the sightseeing places and monuments. Let me know how you guys like that idea.
In the mean time, have a wonderful weekend if I won't be able to post in the next coming days because I'm taking extra shifts at work and such so I will be quite busy starting tomorrow.

  1. Love the playsuit! It is so absolutely romantic that you and your boo went to France to hear music. Ahhh, can I be invited to the fairytale? Lol jk, it looks like you had a really great time. I've never heard of this part of France, but it looks really beautiful. I think whichever idea works best for you is the one you should choose, because I know either way, I'd happily read :)

I think it's a good idea to show your outfits and then the monuments as you said, but it can be good too to have some pics of it with the monuments posts :)
